Great New Years Eve Location
The Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino turned out to be a great choice for our first New Years Eve in Vegas. The location was ideal for New Years Eve festivities on the strip. We arrived into Vegas at 6:00pm on December 31st and while the valet situation was not well organized, it was New Years Eve afterall. We self parked and rolled our luggage from the parking garage to the check-in area. That was a bit of a pain, but the front desk person quickly upgraded us to a corner sweet for the inconvenience when mentioned. Although a little small, our room was VERY nice and comfortable. We liked the separate desk area, lg. flat screen TV and many windows with strip views. (If only the surrounding buildings hadn't been under construction, it would have been perfect.) The bathroom was spa-like with two separate vanity areas, spacious granite tops, another lg. flat screen TV, a large shower and a large tub with it's own strip view! The restaurants and the shopping were wonderful. Our most memorable experience was the unforgettable massages rec'd at the Mandara Spa. Eduardo, in particular, provided the best massage I have ever had. We will certainly return to Planet Hollywood and the Mandara Spa.

Hip and Rockin' Hotel at a rockin' location.
Planet Hollywood (ph) sits next to the Paris and across the street from the new Cosmo Las Vegas. ph is a hip hotel, blaring rock music from all eras, with movie memorabilia throughout the hotel, and it is inviting to all age groups. The hotel is clean and modern looking and fairly easy to navigate. The rooms are quite spacious and we were upgraded to a suite, which had his and hers vanities, a king size bed, two lounge chairs, a large dresser with 2 closets and a 42 flat screen TV. I imagine the rooms are hollywood-inspired, as our room boasted artifacts from the movie Braveheart. There are many restaurants within the hotel to choose from, including P.F. Changs and Yolos Mexican Grill, and the Spice Market Buffet is quite eclectic (choices from Mid-Eastern to Chinese), however, the line for regular guest can be quite long. The Miracle Mile Shops surrounding ph have everything you need from shopping (Urban Outfitters and Fredericks of Hollywood), pit stops (Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Sin City Brewing Co.), quick eats (La Salsa, Cheeseburger LV) and fine art galleries (Wyland, Thomas Kinkade). ph has everything for everyone

Perfect location on the strip
Planet Hollywood was in a perfect location on the strip. It was very easy to walk to the other casinos, and had great shopping just a block away as well as in the Hotel itself in the attached mall. The casino was upbeat, and the on site restaraunts were all really good. The soaking tub in the bathroom was wonderful and the bathroom itself was quite large and roomy and had a glass shower also. The bed was very comfy as well, but the room itself was slightly smaller than expected. Overall we were quite satisfied with our stay and did not have any problems.

Would stay here again
The room was beautiful with a great view of the fountains at Bellagio. Very clean and quiet. Location was perfect to see all of the strip and the Duce stopped right outside. Restuarants were too pricey except for the Earl of Sandwich. Great Sandwiches.

Not Applicable
Buy a ticket for the Duce. You can pay as you ride or buy a pass that you can use it as many times as you want. Much cheaper than the Monorail and it travels up and down the strip not behind it.
