Planet Hollywood Resort Casino

When we entered this 4 star hotel room there was a blood stain on the bed sheets (but we did not notice because it was very late and we were exhausted of the long trip). We called the front desk at 9am the next morning and told them about the disgusting stain and about changing the room. I thought they would offer an immediate change. But I was wrong. That same night we felt like going to the club that was inside the hotel, so I went to the concierge to make reservation. The concierge took our last names (I notice he did not write anything down) and said to be there before 10:30pm. Surprisingly, when we arrived at the night club our reservation was never made. So we couldn?t go inside the club before paying $50.00 dollars. If the reservation would have been done it would have been free. As our terrible experience at the planet Hollywood continued we were on our way to the Grand Canon so we rented a car. Again I went to the concierge to ask if there was a shuttle to the lot he said no. He said you have to pay a taxi to the airport and then a bus will take you to the rental ?even if it is not in the airport location?. When we arrived at the rental office in our taxi of course we saw the shuttle. It was free of charge the only thing that needed to be done was for the concierge to call and schedule a pickup. After these aggravating 4 days I went downstairs to the lobby and asked to speak to the manager. He did care... He gave us his business card and asked me to fill out a survey and mail to the address on the paper. I have been in many hotels through out the US and I have never gotten such horrible service. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

The first night we had to call security four times because of the noise level coming from the room next door. The security people did not respond in a timely fashion, and instead wanted to argue with me. The room was very dark and and you could barely see to find your way around. The bedding only had the comforter to use, and we had to call for other linens. The second night we had the same experience as the first---the room next door came in late and drunk and screaming at the top of their lungs. We called security again, and they came in about ten minutes.At check out the next morning,the on-duy manager said they were sorry and did not offer any adjustments to our bill.

This hotel has an amazing vibe to it. From the moment you step through the doors you know you are in a good spot. The music is great, the staff was great, the hotel is hip and new. I didn't think the pool area was all that great but there's plenty of room for sun bathing. The pool itself is small and only a handful of chairs are around the pool but the patio/deck area is rather large so if you just want the sun you are in a good spot. You can hear the music in any area of the hotel and casino and that was awesome. The spa was very nice too. It still hasn't been remodeled and some areas were a little out dated but the service and overall spa experience was top notch! The rooms were large and the beds were comfy and the bathrooms were clean! I loved this hotel so much I didn't want to leave. That's saying a lot b/c I've been to Vegas a lot and have stayed in many hotels on the strip and right this one is my favorite.

PH had an upscale feel without pinching your wallet too much. Great room with large flat-screen TV and Awesome bathroom (soaking tub and separate shower). Great atmosphere in some of the casino clubs. Food options were a bit sparce or difficult to find with singnage that seemed to point around corners. Will definetly return to Planet Hollywood!

Nicely renovated rooms, lobby. The shopping mall is still being worked on. Only 1 issue was finding the entrance. You go pass the place on the strip and there is no driveway! You have to go around the block to see it's on the west side street. Other than that, great place.

Our room at the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino was very comfortable. We were impressed with the furnishings and decor. The separate tub and shower in the very large bathroom was great. Also the location of the property on the main strip is ideal. There is a large shopping center located here with a variety of shops and restaurants.

Can't beat the location. The hotel is located right in the center of the strip. The only draw back is that the entrance is thru the side street and not directly from the strip. We ended up wasting an hour trying to locate the entrance to the hotel. The hotel guests have options of either valet parking or Self Park in the garage. In case of valet parking, we had to wait for 5-15 mins for the valet to take the car, and another 15 min for them to bring it from the garage. The garage for self-parking was located on the other side of the Miracle Mile shopping mall (part of the hotel/resort). We had to walk 15 min each way thru the mall and the hotel casino to get to and from the parking garage wasting valuable time. Upon check-in, we were assigned a room next to elevator. A few minutes in the room and we realized the disturbance/vibration/noise from the elevator every time it passed by. A quick trip to the reception solved the problem. We were moved to another room, on the same floor, away from elevator and facing the bellagio fountain. The views of the Bellagio fountain and Paris Eiffel tower from the room were excellent. The room and the bath were spacious. The bathroom had separate shower and bath tub. Although I was surprised by the absence of coffee maker and fridge in the room, which was an inconvenience. The Spice Market buffet is good but I felt it was pricy. At this price, I would have expected to see sushi and pasta on the menu. The desserts were great.

This hotel is located near the middle of the strip, so wherever you want to be you're close. Spent a lot of time in the room recovering from a cold...nice, fluffy down comforters & feather pillows, quiet for the most part & housekeeping was great about not knocking on the door every morning (with the do not disturb sign out). Planet Dailies has great burgers & is open 24 hours, great for that late night snack before bed. Earl of Sandwich is a great option for a cheap lunch. Room service was fast. Overall, very stisfied with my stay here & would recommend to anyone. Only complaint is the remodel - the Aladdin is still very alive after the buy-out...close down a floor at a time & do it up right guys! Oh, and fix the shower heads!

The room decor is great, each room has a different theme based on different movies. I have had Titanic, Ghostbusters, Laurel and Hardy etc etc. Good choice of restaurants and plenty of gambling options, friendly staff and very central on the strip. Too much advertising in your face, but that's Vegas. I would recommend it to anyone

Planet Hollywood was very modern, comfortable, and the location on the strip was perfect. The room was fabulous...high headboard, and flat screen tv. I loved the fact that there was a separate room in the bathroom for the toilet, and the shower stall and tub were separated. The hotel is sort of centered on the strip, which made traveling very easy. My husband and I would definitely stay there again.
