Great place to meet up with old friends
The hotel was in a great location to the Strip. We found good restaurants and shopping close by. The room was very spacious and clean, but the lighting in the bathroom was too dim and the easy chair was too low and uncomfortable. We really liked the separate shower stall and the privacy of the toilet. We would recommend this hotel highly, compared to others we have stayed at in Vegas. We have stayed in this hotel before and will do so again.

First trip to Vegas will be a memorable one!! Thanks PH!!
Trying to recover after my first trip to Vegas this past weekend!! Planet Hollwood was great!! We got a free upgrade upon check in for our room, and that was the start of a great weekend. Great atmosphere.... The Casino was a big party!! We had a good meal with excellent service at Strip House. Great experience at the pool. Got a one hour late check out for free which proved to be crucial after the night out we had!!! You can't beat the location. This place is perfect for 1st timers like us. Can't wait to go back...

great location
The hotel is in a great location right across the street from the Bellagio fountains in the middle of the strip. The casino at PH is pretty good, but the room itself was pretty mediocre. At the time of check in even paid an extra $150 extra for a room upgrade and the room was the same as the original room I had booked. The pillows are uncomfortable and the shower is not so great either. I've had nicer rooms at average hotels like best westerns or holiday inns. You're only paying for the location. Everything is pretty expensive and they definately don't go out of their way for you. Its sometimes hard to even see a waitress at times while you're playing at their tables to get a drink and then after waiting over an hour before seeing a waitress if you leave the table to get the drinks yourself, they charge you $14. It was alright, but mostly just because of the location. Its all you're paying for.

Wasn't expecting this
The room was dated and the retro-fit from the Aladin days wasn't well implemented. Cheesy press-board valences to cover spaces near the ceiling, small window with blinds/shades that barely worked (one chain broke) and a horrible mattress. The carpet in the hallways was bulging up into ridges and looked very worn, as did much of the hotel. Everywhere I went, I saw cigarette burns, stains, etc. There were 2 pools, and one was closed for 2 days. both were ok, but the layout is awkward and the pool chairs were very worn and dirty looking. The music was overly loud like they were trying to create a party atmosphere, but it wasn't working. Food - very expensive for mediocre food - forget room service. Leave the hotel - there's a great pizza place back in the Miracle Mile shops and other great spots such as Las Vegas Cheesburgers. They have the Mai Tai bar with all the games on and breakfast specials. For what we paid, this was not even close to worthwhile - would much prefer NY, or TI.

Great visit to Vegas!
Last winter I decided to visit Vegas with a few of my friends. We went online and searched for our flight packages. Viewing the ratings and location, we decided to book Planet Hollywood as our lodging hotel. Just as its overall rating, the hotel was beautiful. Its location was very convenient also and their room was very clean. Housekeepers did a great job at cleaning! I'd love to go back here again.
