Like a world unto itself, Planet Hollywood Resort Casino encompasses a dramatic metropolitan resort with a chic, high-energy gaming floor (one of the first with sexy dealers), theaters, lounges, restaurants, a spa by Mandara and the Miracle Mile Shops. Former Playmate Holly Madison's "Peepshow" revue takes off nightly, not far from Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina, Pink's famous hot dogs and the sultry Strip House for steaks. Not surprisingly, movie premieres, filmings and star sightings are common here.

Great hotel and casino
We stayed at Planet Hollywood for almost a week and it was a great experience. The bed was comfy, room was clean and the bathroom was huge! The staff were very helpful and the room had a nice big tv. It was a great place for the price. And located right in the middle of the strip made it easy to get places. The only negative part was that the walls were VERY thin - you could hear the people next door and in the hall talking. The casino was great as well as the restaraunts. I would definitely stay there again.

25th Birthday Celebration
The hotel was great! Great location on the strip and not far from the airport. We really didn't have to leave out hotel if we didn't want to with all the nightclubs inside, restaurants, and shopping mall.

Didn't like at all
This just wasn't what I was expecting for the price and the name. The layout of the room is weird with a lot of unusable space. The upgraded resort room was suppose to come with ambient lighting( it did not). The Linens on the bed were really cheap. If there was a way I could have canceled this reservation while getting my money back I would have after the first night.

Nice view. It smelled a little stuffy like if it had not been used in a while and the cold water pressure in the sink was not the best.

Excellent Locations
For the value this Hotel has it all. Great Location, rooms are great, plenty to do around if you are single or with your significant other. The only bad thing was the breakfast buffet.

Vegas Hotel
Planet Hollywood has location on the strip going for it. It is directly across from the Bellagio and truly in the center of the Vegas strip. The rooms have modern decor, and seem to be recently updated. The casino itself however is lacking in atmosphere and smoke-filled. Just to get to the hotel itself, you have to walk through a never-ending mall. It is an upscale mall, but it gets tiresome dragging luggage through. Also, had booked a suite, but when we arrived they said it was a smoking optional room. So rather than be suffocated by more smoke, we opted for a smaller smoke free accommodation, but we still ended up paying the original price. Also, to rent a fridge is $25 and internet is $14 for 1 day, not to mention workout facility is $25 per day.

Ideal stay
Planet Hollywood is an ideal place to stay, staff were very helpful, room cleaned every day, and plenty of places to eat and shop within it's walls.The Casino on the ground floor is worth a visit, if not to gamble, to see the activity in this huge place is enough. well positioned to walk : The Strip and see the sights. A must visit is the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. Well recomended.
