Meet Tinseltown and the sleek home of Holly Madison's Peepshow

Like a world unto itself, Planet Hollywood Resort Casino encompasses a dramatic metropolitan resort with a chic, high-energy gaming floor (one of the first with sexy dealers), theaters, lounges, restaurants, a spa by Mandara and the Miracle Mile Shops. Former Playmate Holly Madison's "Peepshow" revue takes off nightly, not far from Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina, Pink's famous hot dogs and the sultry Strip House for steaks. Not surprisingly, movie premieres, filmings and star sightings are common here.

Highlights

  • Gordon Ramsay Burger opening in December 2012 in the "High Limit" area near Cabo Wabo and Starbucks
  • Dramatic Planet Hollywood rooms with genuine movie props
  • Holly Madison's sexy Peepshow, an erotic musical revue
  • Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina
  • Home to the Miracle Mile Shops with 170 top retail venues and 15 restaurants

For serious gaming action spanning over three acres, guests place their bets at Planet Hollywood's casino for its variety of slots and table games, large poker room, sleek Playing Field race and sports book, and – let's not forget – the Pleasure Pit featuring go-go dancers and scantily-dressed, beautiful women dealing blackjack. Restaurants galore span the shopping area and include Todai Sushi, Cheesburger Las Vegas, Lombardi's Romagna Mia and Pampas Churrascaria Brazilian Grille. Guests at PH enjoy free self- and valet parking and more amenities at the adjacent Planet Hollywood Towers.

The Show," comedy acts, a male revue and even Popovich's Pet Theatre for kids. Head for the Extra Lounge to see which celeb is being taped for the popular TV show, EXTRA! The 13' margarita fountain, the fun-loving crowd, and the cool and energetic colors of the dining room all serve notice that this urbane cantina is a little different from what you'll find anywhere else in Las Vegas. The service is as gracious as any down Mexico way. The kitchen puts a deliciously inventive spin on all your favorite Mexican dishes. And the list of tequilas goes on like there's no maana.

Rock N Roll marathon weekend

Hotel rooms were average. Furnishings were 3 star...maybe. Cabnet with doors off for TV and closet. Scratched, dented, beat up wood work. Window on the strip but the window was too dirty on the outside to enjoy the view. Could have used a refridgerator. Bathroom was really nice, large deap tub, seperate glass shower, seperate toilet, counter big enough for 2 sinks but only 1. Bed was very comfortable...thick down mattress pad and washable bed spread. It was the Charlie Sheen room and kinda think he might have been there a few times. The rest of the hotel...top notch, great location mid strip.

Great place for the younger crowd

The rooms were fantastic with a different theme in each. Our theme was General Hospital, but I wasn't a big GH fan. The buffet wasn't as great as it used to be but still not bad for the money. Good music if you like the loud club style electric area, and the dancers on the tables at the pleasure pit kept everyone from being able to count cards for sure. Overall I'd recomend it for an all around, fun couples vacation hotel.

Good reasonable place to stay

Have stayed here twice now and both times have been good. The price was excellent and without the dreaded 'resort fees'. We were on the 14th floor in a very large room with a king size bed. The only minor downside to the room was the poor shower pressure but other than that it was good.

Awesome value and location

The PH was one of the cheaper hotels compared to other hotels like the Aria, Cosmopolitan, Ceasers, etc. I read some bad reviews and was a bit scared staying here, but the experience was totally awesome. For the money this is a great hotel. It's right in the middle of the Strip and was clean and comfortable. I saw that some people thought that the furniture and movie memorabilla in the rooms were tacky...I thought it was fun and had no problem with it. It was a bit silly, but it didn't feel like I was staying in a cheap motel. The room still felt like a nice hotel in the middle of the LV strip. I read complaints about the small windows which were true, but if you're in Vegas you won't be in your room all day staring out the window. I still had a nice view from my 35th floor room and never saw the small window as an issue. I also read a lot of complaints about the hot water taking a long time to heat up. I stayed on the 35th floor and had no problems with this. I also read that the people here were rowdy and that the walls were thin. Maybe I was just lucky and didn't have rowdy neighbors, but I never had any problems. Finally, all the rooms come with a soaking tub. C'mon how can you beat that??? On the negative side, I did find out that the self-parking is ridiculously far away. The valet parking was ample, but parking got crazy for a few days because the Soul Train awards were filiming at the PH and there were tons of people there for the show. Maybe I took the wrong route, but the only entrance to the hotel from self-parking was through the Miracle Mile shopping mall. It felt like I had to walk about a half-mile just to get to the hotel. If you have trouble walking you may want to make sure there are no special events scheduled during your stay or see if the hotel can make some kind of accomodations for you so you don't have to make the trek from self-parking to the hotel.

Trade Show Week

I chose this hotel based on reviews I had read. Price was good for the room. Location not bad but was a little far from where the convention was but that was my choice. Amenities were great. The buffet was way over priced at $32.00 so I stuffed myself at PF Changs for $12.00 I would stay there again.
