Meet Tinseltown and the sleek home of Holly Madison's Peepshow

Like a world unto itself, Planet Hollywood Resort Casino encompasses a dramatic metropolitan resort with a chic, high-energy gaming floor (one of the first with sexy dealers), theaters, lounges, restaurants, a spa by Mandara and the Miracle Mile Shops. Former Playmate Holly Madison's "Peepshow" revue takes off nightly, not far from Sammy Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina, Pink's famous hot dogs and the sultry Strip House for steaks. Not surprisingly, movie premieres, filmings and star sightings are common here.

Good Location

The front was ripped off with insulation hanging out, surrounded by construction fencing with cranes. This made for a wonderful vacation photo.

Rude Staff

The Planet Hollywood Hotel in las Vegas tho a great location still needs to work on the friendliness and overall staff quality. Felt like they thought they were doing me a favor allowing me to stay there. Valet parkers were very rude. Would never stay there again unless it was dirt cheap.

It fell far below all our expectations

This is our 4th trip to Vegas and we like to stay somewhere new each time. We have stayed at the Belaggio(2), Bally's, and Paris. We were very excited to stay at Planet Hollywood and we were extremely disappointed. When we arrived at 10:30pm after a long flight it took us 45 minutes to get checked in. We were informed that they did not have the type of room we requested, but they could give us something until the next day when they would move us. We were promised the room that they had given us for the night had a view of the strip and a walk in shower. When we got to the room it was like staying in an average motel, not a top hotel on the strip, the shower was a complete nightmare with the nozzle being 4 feet off the ground and neither one of us being able to shower in it. In the middle of the night we woke up to a leak in the bathroom ceiling from the room above us and the bathroom floor coated in water. The next morning we were told we couldn't be moved until 3pm that day, but they would give us free passes to the buffet and give us a $60 upgrade. We finally got to our new room which was nice, but clearly not a $60 dollar a night upgrade. When we went to pick up our buffet passes we were treated rudely and asked to step aside in line so that they could help the other three people before getting to us. We had to wait almost 20 minutes and then was given the 3rd degree about why we would be getting the comp passes. The pool area is a joke compared to other places we have stayed and the staff out at the pool was beyond rude. Every time we walked through the lobby we were harassed by individuals trying to get us to take a tour of the new Planet Hollywood condos. Everywhere we have stayed in the past we have been treated so well and enjoyed our stay, every time we went to do something within the hotel we had to deal with rude and inefficient staff. The one positive is both times we went to the buffet our servers were very pleasant and attentive. Give all the other great places to stay I would never recommend this hotel.

Eh...shrug

Have never in my life stayed in a hotel that did not provide coffee service in the room!! Or at the very least a place to get coffee OTHER THAN the Starbucks on the casino floor. Didn't want to walk through a smokey casino to get my morning coffee!!! Really bad. Our room did NOT get cleaned for more than 24 hours and we had the PLEASE SERVICE notice on the door! But I had a good time because I was going to my middle daughter's wedding at the Little Chapel of the Flowers. My son stayed at the Mariott across the street...it was much nicer AND cheaper.

Hotel hell

Room was excellent and well kept. BUT - music in public areas too loud - inhibits all conversations - staff harrassed us all the time about time shares with come on of "comps" or "free shows" - both entrances, in the casino,(so called "Guest Services"), and even on the street. Very annoying - will not stay here again.

Monorail is nice but a very long walk to and from stations. Should have used busses - less nice but a lot more convenient - cheaper too

Very upseting

I'm very UNHAPPY with the way Planet Hollywood deal with its guests. We make very few request , but they didn't care. we travel in a group of 5 people and request to put in adjacent rooms, we even call a day before to confirm that everything would be ok, but when we arrived there they said that couldn't be done. they want to put us even in a cheaper rooms , below what we had pay for. After a big argument with the front desk employee( Angel ) we have to call the manager, witch took about 45 min to show up ... we kept waiting ... and in the end they couldn't give us the room ... My friends stay 7 doors down (I request to be together because some of them didn't speak English and I was the only one to be able to assist them better. When we arrive in the room , the desk , tables, tv cabinets was full of dust ... we call to complaint but they never send someone to clean ... I then forgot about it. After that I went to take a nice bath in the tub , and for my surprise the water didn't drain, the sink started fill up .... was ridiculous ... PLUS the smell that was coming from the tub and sink ... look like a sewer line . When we call again to complaint they send someone who did nothing about, After another bath everything start again ... and the smell was HORRIBLE. I will never want to stay there again .. the customer service is 0 , and on top of that they do nothing to compensate you !!! I thought that a 4 Star hotel would be much better special in Las Vegas, but Planet Hollywood is a deception .

very disappointed

I was disappoointed in the hotel. We had to ask (twice) for a bath mat, light bulbs were missing in some of the lamps and the clock was broken so we had to get a new one. Compared to the other hotel Lobbies Planet Hollywood was very boring. We also did not like the fact that every time we came in and out of the hotel and casino the pounced on us to buy a time share.
