If you want to go to any clubs (and you are all girls/ mostly girls) make sure to have a promoter put you on a list. If they are legit promoter they will hook you up. Went to Marquee, Tryst, XS, Surrender, TAO and Hyde and didn't pay a dollar for cover.

Surprisingly Average
Chose Planet Hollywood due to its location on the Strip and the price of the air/hotel package. Also, was under the impression that its reputation was hip and exciting. In reality, I found it to be just average. The room was spacious, but showed obvious wear (the banged up furniture, uncomfortable bed, broken lamp). No hot water for the bathtub? Activity in the casino was mediocre, at best. It was the middle of the week, but nearby casinos had more energy happening.

Rooms are Fire Hazards
Staff was nice and efficient upon check in. All seemed ok for my Miss America weekend with friends. First problem I noticed was that there was no security at the entrance to the elevators to check if you were a guest or a stranger just wandering into the hotel. This could be a big problem. This was Miss America Pageant week and there were many single women at the hotel n and lax security!!!.\\ In my room it was very dark. The furniture and all but one accent wall are very dark. I tried to turn on the lights and noticed most of them were burned out. I was about to call the front desk to replace the bulbs when I noticed the plug outlets. Each socket had a 4 way plug in it. And all of them were plugged in. Thus, there were 8 electric plugs in a 2 socket fixture. This was done by the hotel to put more light into the dark rooms. This is why the lights didn't work- They shorted out. I opted to use the clean, spacious and well lit bathroom for almost everything instead of having the lights fixed and either short out or cause an electrical fire. I am no fire expert, but my room had a live example of the X-Mas fire hazard of too many things plugged into one socket. This is a big dangerous problem.

Great hotel and casino
We stayed at Planet Hollywood for almost a week and it was a great experience. The bed was comfy, room was clean and the bathroom was huge! The staff were very helpful and the room had a nice big tv. It was a great place for the price. And located right in the middle of the strip made it easy to get places. The only negative part was that the walls were VERY thin - you could hear the people next door and in the hall talking. The casino was great as well as the restaraunts. I would definitely stay there again.

Didn't like at all
This just wasn't what I was expecting for the price and the name. The layout of the room is weird with a lot of unusable space. The upgraded resort room was suppose to come with ambient lighting( it did not). The Linens on the bed were really cheap. If there was a way I could have canceled this reservation while getting my money back I would have after the first night.
