Great place to stay off the strip

We had an inside room looking into the atrium; we could see the laser light show from our room. They have lots of different restaurants inside the hotel and a movie theater (18 screens) and a bowling alley. You really never have to leave. I love the middle of the hotel as the atrium with real trees and a creek and audio animatronic animals. The rates were fantastic! The rooms are clean and roomy. Not much choice in TV channels, but great options for pay per view. This is not the place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the strip or even downtown, but for those of us that avoid the strip, it's fantastic!

If you are looking for a lot of night life, and big Vegas shows, this is not the hotel for you. But it is kid friendly with the laser light show (free) inside the hotel.

Great Sam's Town Stay

Came to Vegas for Trade Show at Sands Convention Center. Stayed at Sam's because it was very inexpensive. Great Room and Service. Will go there again. Quiet and Off the Strip, but within 15 minute drive, and parking at the big casino's is free. Best buffet in town, but you have to get a Coast card to take advantage of the price break, but it was free. I always stay off site and rent a car for the trade shows and Sam's will be my new home and I go to Vegas a lot. Walmart Supercenter is across the street. Only down sides was No In Room Coffee Maker, and No Free Internet Service and what internet service they have is costly!

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

#1 - Get the Coast card, it's free. You'll get discounted buffets, don't bother with any other one except Sam's, the food is comparable to any other casino in town and the price is much lower with the card. #2 - Walmart Supercenter is across the street!!!!

Love Sam's Town. Stayed there many times

We have stayed at Sam's many times in the past 30 yrs. It feels like home. It was the only place we thought of when we planned our trip. We had our family reunion back in 2001 at Sam's and now we had a mini reunion..... hope to be able to visit again in the future... only disappointment was places to eat. The cafe was closed as was the Italian restaurant. Did like the Deli.
