Good for 1 night

Stopped for one night after a quick vacation in Las Vegas with the family. The check-in line was almost out the door, electronic kiosk check-in could not locate both reservations I made and only offered smoking rooms. The rooms were clean. The noise from the pool with kids who go to sleep early wasn't appreciated but was tolerable and eventually did stop. Kids loved the rollercoaster, log ride and arcade which we did not expect to be as good as they were. For the price it was a good overnight stay.

For kids, buy the day long wrist band instead of the individual tickets for the rides. It's worth it.

extremely upset

room not available when we got there even though I had contacted the hotel for a late arrival. We were moved to Wiskey Petes casino hotle- a real dump. I feel I am owed a partial refund as Whiskey Petes was a cheaper room. We were told because we booked thru Orbitz they couldn't do anything about it!!!! I guess that teaches me to book a hotel thru Orbitz.

No ice

For what we paid, it was fine. However, the ice machine (on multiple floors) did not work, and cooler/heater had a separate switch in an obscure location to turn it on/off.

Good Price, Good Value

Good place to stay overnight for a good price, particularly if you're really just looking for a place to stay overnight somewhere between Utah and southern California. The Desperado roller coaster at Buffalo Bill's is also a lot of fun. I had some initial problems with my reservation, but the staff at the hotel were really good about getting it cleared up and getting me a room. The room isn't anything extraordinary, but it's a good value for what you're getting.

Good for the price!

I was here on a turn around trip. I was able to get the room for $25 so it was worth it since we're not big gamblers. The room was nice ...the bed very comfortable. However, we had to wait over 30min to check in and the staff all around was not friendly or helpful. My biggest complain would be though that the pool is FREEZING cold. I understand keeping it cool cuz of the heat but that was ridiculous. Overall it's ok ...especially at that price.

We ate at their buffet restaurant...not worth it. Check out Tony Roma's instead ...but ask about their closing times! The ice cream place closed at 7pm on a Sunday!

Average

Pros: Good place for an overnighter, great room rates, close to outlet mall, staff is pretty friendly and helpful. Cons: No free Wii-Fi, pool hours are too short in the summer, buffet is limited, bathroom shower needs upgrading.

Cost Effective and very reasonable.

Best Hotel Casino on State Line. But the rooms are basic, and the amenities are standard. Then the elevators are bashed up, and the hallways are not air conditioned with tattered carpet patches. If I wanted more, I would continue on to Las Vegas for some more stars on the hotel rating. This price was perfect to stop and get some shut eye on a long drive after work to Vegas.
