Perfect place when passing through
We just needed a quick overnight stay off the NYS Thruway in Albany, but I wanted something a step up from the budget option. It was after two long days of driving and a memorial service and the whole family needed a quick pick-me-up. Our room was nice, the beds very comfortable, and my teens were thrilled to see a pool. Located just a mile or so from the largest malls in the area, it was easy to zip over to the mall and grab some suits and enjoy some evening pool and hot tub time. The location right off the Thruway, directly across from SUNY Albany, and near the mall was super convenient, the staff was very friendly, and the accommodations pleasant.

Great room - my 1.5 year old daughter loved it too....
This could not have been any better. I booked this hotel as we were traveling from Niagara Falls on our way back to Boston. I just needed a place to sleep. But, man, was I wrong - I got a room that was GREAT!! The decor was awesome - fantastic upgrades to the room decor. Great couch, very comfortable mattress. Great, clean bathrooms, fantastic carpets. We were traveling with our 1.5 year old daughter, and she was playing in the room in exactly the same way as she would play at home - which means the world to me. She loved the place. In short, this place feels like home. Would love to stay here longer, but I have no business in Albany ;(

good location for the money.
Had stayed at Albany courtyard mattiot before. they're in the process of renovating so I don't know if I would've stayed there if I knew. New rooms and hallways are beautiful. I think i'll wait to stay again until renovation is over.

Good Place to Stay
Good location, easy to get to. Our only complaint was the road noise from the Thruway. Ask for a room facing the front of the hotel and it would be a great stay.

Great accomodations, great service!
This was our last stop after attending our granddaughter's graduation from Vassar. We had one night to relax and recuperate from a very busy weekend. The hotel is located a short distance from major expressways (easy to find), about 10-15 minutes from the airport and is quiet and the rooms are large and nicely furnished. As this was our only night away from family, we chose to eat a quiet dinner and see a movie at the local mall. I would highly recommend Houlihans Restaurant in the Crossgates Mall.

Clean, comfortable
I have stayed at this Courtyard many each time I come to the albany area to visit family...I have always found the rooms and hotel to be very clean and comfortable, and the staff very accommadating. I will continue to book my Albany visits at this location...
