Walk to downtown from this family-owned hotel

Well-priced for its downtown location, Meadow Court Inn offers simple and convenient accommodations. Accessible to surrounding streets by foot, Meadow Court also sits a few minutes by car from Cornell University, Ithaca College and center-city shopping at Ithaca Commons. Become part of a bustling scene at the Ithaca farmer's market on Saturdays or head out to one of the nearby parks for a picnic and a walk along the lake. Homey and down to earth, the hotel and the adjacent Royal Court Restaurant are owned and operated by two local sisters.

Visit to Ithaca

Great hotel for a short stay to visit a college student. Close to campus, stores and restauarnts. Staff was friendly, room was clean.

Motel is clean and in good location

Easy to find and convenient location for college visit. Your average Motel - price is right. Only problem is that bathroom noise from adjoining room was really really loud. Glad they didn't get up really early! Can hear the TV from next door through the walls.

Perfect! It Doesn't Get Any Better

this is the second time i stayed at this place and i have zero complaints with it. it's relatively cheap, good location, nice staff, plenty of parking space. This is where I'll stay anytime i come to Ithaca.

Holiday escape to wine country

The staff was courteous and friendly. We have stayed at this hotel before and reserved a room this time for the sake of location and economy. When we checked in we discovered we were staying in a different building than before. The difference was enormous. The room was much more spacious and modern. It was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator and had a much cleaner appearance. We were delighted! And the price cannot be beaten. The hotel is minutes from downtown Ithaca, directly across the street from great shopping and a short drive to our favorite wineries on the west side of the lake.

There are several great restaurants within a short distance including a wonderful tapas restaurant, a good microbrewery, Thai food and and off-beat organic spot with a beautiful stone (real wood) fireplace.

Cross country trip

The general area was quite noisy in the early morning and late night. The police were there for a disturbance down the hall on our last night. The room was clean and comfortable. The resturaunt was very nice and very friendly.

Not as bad as the other reviews

I was a bit hesitant to stay here, based on many prior reviews, but since it was a bargain when paired with airfare, I went for it. This is basically a roadside motel, nothing more. The room was fine - although the promised wireless was not available. It's extremely conveniently located (across the street from a 24 hour Wegman's grocery), and the staff were very helpful.

Ithaca is a small town. Since this hotel is on a highway, you need to drive to the center of town, but it's only a 5 minute drive.

Great inexpensive hotel!

The hotel is a big decieving from the outside, but the rooms are truly great (especially for the price). The outside was not well lit, so I was skeptical, but the room was perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The staff was very friendly as well.

Visit to Itaca College

This location is really great for college visits and we will use it again. Not a 5 star hotel but properly priced so if your looking for a clean bed and a nice shower this worked out for us. About a mile or two from Ithaca College. The night clerk has the personality of a toad, not very prleasent and was quite rude. In fact, if it were my business, her employment would cease! That was the only negative. We weren't looking for the "Walmart Greeter" but we didn't expect the junkyard dog to greet us either.

friendly staff

The room was average but the staff was friendly and did not charge extra when i added a 3rd person to the room
