Days Inn Jamaica - JFK Airport

The room was clean and the hotel is very convenient for a short stay. I spent only one night in transit to other place and it was very good. The staff was very friendly.

The price is pretty good for NYC, but unless you only care for making it to the airport fast, the location is pretty bad. There were only a few places to eat nearby, and all the interesting tourist stuff are around an hour or so away via subway.

Had a wonderful experience. staff was helpful. had a smoking room that did not smell like smoke.the hotel is close to the highway. a hop, skip,and a jump away for the city and close to alot of eateries. and they also offeer a free shuttle to the casino!! And i like that they offer ferr breakfast. which was wonderful!! will stay there again.

1. Terrible location. It's a 2-hour commute to and from Manhattan on public transit. And there's really nothing nearby as far as restaurants and activities. It's a rather unsafe and shady neighborhood as well. 2. Rude staff. They serve breakfast from 6-9 sharp. That means at 9 'o clock the staff say "sorry!" and take the food away even though there are still people in line for breakfast. 3. Not many amenities and the WiFi signal is poor. 4. The room is clean, but smells old. Cannot tell if it smells like an old humid room, or they use a terrible air freshener. I think it's the former. 5. They only care about cutting down the costs by all means, and quality doesn't matter to them very much. ___ Only stay here if you need a cheap place for a night before flying out of JFK.

Very expensive and dated hotel in a scary environment (looks like an industrial district). Extremely cramped rooms, could hardly walk in them. I had the misfortune of leaving a couple of delivered packages behind (staff did not tell me they had arrived and I forgot). The manager charged me $100 since they had kept them for 3 days. Receptionist lady was nice however and helped me get them shipped back to me after I contacted the hotel. The only positive was its close to the airport, but its one of the worst hotel I have stayed at, and I basically live out of hotels.

Room was very small. Beds were hard and also seemed very small. Tiny, thin towels

Served the purpose of having a place to sleep while visiting NY but the location is not greatest. Employees were friendly, but forgot to replace our towels. RBS

The hotel location cause me to walk 10 mins every day for food and to catch the bus , but the shuttle back to the hotel saved a lot of walk but it did not save on cost ( lol ) , but other than this the hotel was very nice i would tell any one to stay here at any time.

smelled so bad I could not turn on the air conditioner! Even after they let me switch rooms, the air conditioner had a mouldy, musty smell.

id rather sleep on a JFK bench which is what i had to do when this hotel took my $$$ but declined my stay
