The Econo Lodge is located in downtown Lake George Village and is in walking distance to restaurants, shops, nightlife and lake attractions. It is also only a few miles from Six Flags Great Escape Amusement Park. The public trolley conveniently stops right in front of the hotel. The hotel offers a free continental breakfast each morning, wireless internet access, elevator, guest coin operated laundry and ironing room, indoor and outdoor pool. Each room is equipped with a coffee maker ,refrigerator, cable with HBO, hairdryer and air conditioning. Come stay at the best value on the Lake! Come stay at the best value on the Lake! Noise! Noise! Noise!

Awful!!!! The people in the room over us never stopped walking, stomping flushing etc. The stairs outside our room caused constant noise all night long with people going up and down and talking and yelling loudly and there were people outside at 2:30 in the morning partying. I will never stay there again and only did because my regular motel was not open yet!!! Awful experience!!!!!

Good Value

I got what I expected with the price I paid. It wasn't a i 5-star hotel but I also don't have any complaints about it. It was clean and had no problems with my stay. Short walk to Lake George Village.

the good and the bad

we went just to get away for the weekend the hotel was clean and neat the continental breakfast was very disappointing..no fruit no yogurt it was sugary cereals,doughnuts and breads was not impressed.

it was raining on Saturday when we went to dinner so we drove I'm sure it would have been a nice walk. we ate at the moose tooth grill it was fantastic food and the waitress were great.

Clean but old and noisy

Went for a get away weekend with another couple, the Econolodge is well located to access the center area, so that was the good part, however it is too close to the highway. Another thing, the rooms smell a little bit like an old motel, which most of them are in that are in Lake George.

My review of Econo Lodge Downtown

The motel is conveniently located and the staff was friendly and helpful.Although it was after Labor Day we still expected the poor (indoor) to be in better shape and the jacuzzi to work. The rooms were clean, however, and it was worth the price.

There were plenty of gift shops within walking distance and the beach and other attractions were also within walking distance.
