Rodeway Inn Springhills Lake George

Our stay on this past weekend was very enjoyable. Hotel room was exceptionaly clean, staff was very helpful and it was less expensive than most other places. I would definately stay there again.

Was at the hotel for Memorial Day weekend, which means it was the first weekend the hotel was open during the peak season. Hallways smelled musty, but the room was mostly clean. Bathroom floor needed to be mopped. Had to plug in everything when we first got in the room, I'm assuming that was because it was the first day of the season and the room had not been used in a while- same reason the water was brown when the shower was first turned on. Overall the hotel was minimal, but functional and clean.

On 2 of the 3 nights we were the only guests. Because it was too early, no services were available - no housekeeping, no breakfast, no front desk attendent. While we were in the king size bed jacuzzi unit, it was not freshly cleaned.

[...]was suppossed to have free breakfast - sign in hotel in lights said free breakfast- when we asked what time was told no breakfast out of season. One of the rooms toilet was not working(overflow). was told would take of it right away. other room had to use our bathroom facilities. when we returned to thwe room at night - neither of the rooms were done up & the toilet was not fixed - the clerk at the desk said everyone was gonehome for the night (about 7 pm). also coffee was supplied but no creamer and no sugar - choice was black coffee - at7am clerk nowhere to be found & kingsize room with Jacuzzi had no jacuzzi - someone was very decptive [...]

It was outdated and poor lighting. Vacuuming was not used along the base of the bed platforms. Bathrooms were yucky. No extra hand towel, grout was black, but can tell it was white once. Breakfast was upstairs with no elevator, fine for me, but not for those who can't climb stairs. So it was complimentary, but no butter nor knives and watered down coffee. Can't forget about the mold in the plastic bucket for ice...It was very minimal for the price of the hotel room.

This hotel is out of the hustle bustle of the centre of town. It has picnic tables and a barbecue in the back. The staff was extremely helpful and the breakfast was included. We stopped on our way to Canada and stopped on our way back. Hotel could use some updating but overall very pleasant stay.

Hotel needed updates including a better seating area outdoors, pool updates, and some niceties for appearances. the room was clean and acceptable. the hair dryer attached to the wall did not work, although the tv had a great picture. the air conditioning was very noisy, as was the hallway until midnight or so, with people calling back and forth to each other and running down the hall. However, the clean beds and bathroom won us over for the great price. We'd stay here again.
