Great weekend getaway!

This hotel is fairly new. Everything was perfect for our weekend getaway. We had a great room with two comfortable queen size beds...very clean. Free complimentary breakfast was very good...scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hot and cold cereals, coffee, tea, juices, milk, toast, english muffins, bagels, cream cheese, yogourts. Staff was helpful, kind & friendly. Indoor pool was great. Will definitely go back to this hotel.

very good!!

The only thing we would have liked would be having another blanket in the room. Other than that it was great!! We realy enjoyed the stay!!

Fantastic getaway for myself

It has been a long time since I have found such a nice hotel.The room could not have been any better.The bed was so comfortable,plenty of pillows.The room had a fairly new refrigerator and microwave,which I did find very conveinent. The pool area was very clean and did not have that musty smell that you can normally smell at other hotels.When I arrived check in went nice and smooth,besides getting to my room and not having my key work.I did call someone in the lobby on my cell phone to make them aware of it and a staff member was up at my room within five minutes with a new key.The staff at Wingate are very nice.I would totally recommend this hotel to any one .

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

The board walk in lake George is less than a mile away.Of course,it is off season so nothing is really open down in lake George but it is still a nice walk along the lake.

Nice stay

Nice place

This hotel was perfect - especially for a winter stay! Good value to have the breakfast included. The Room was large and nice. They had microwave, fridge, coffee maker parking. You don't have to pay separate for all these things.

No Third bed

Hotel doesn't offer roll in beds. So if you have kids older ones don't go here.

Not worth it

The hotel is said to have lake access but, it does not . The so called hot breakfast was the worst food I ever had. Staff for the most part was unfriendly. Except the employees at the front desk.
