You won't regret your stay here!
The location being "Time Square-ish" was a huge plus, blocks away from everything to include convenient subway/bus stops when needed. The real perk of this hotel was the staff! They were always available and ready to give the personal touch on everything. For instance, my wife and I got in very late and upon learning that she was pregnant, the front desk immediately upgraded us at no charge to a room with a king rather than the full-sized bed we were originally assigned plus had extra pillows delivered. We got in very late, 1am, so not only was the upgrade most welcome but the front desk also reccomended an excellent pizza place, Ray's Pizza, which delived pizza through 5am, handy info when dealing with a pregnant woman! When one of our excursions took us to the Yankees game on a friday evening, the concierge staff smartly recommended we take the "D" train to the stadium rather than the "B" train as it was going to be packed at the time. He was spot on as it was just as cramped leaving the game as it was going! They delivered complimentary gifts to our room since our stay was for my wife's birthday, a very nice touch! I took the long way to say that the price, location, and incredible stay make the Cassa Hotel a must-stay for your Manhattan trip!

Time-saving tip:
Not Applicable
For an evening Yankees game during the week leaving from the Time Square vicinity, take the "D" train rather than the "B" though the distance is longer you'll make fewer stops AND have less people to contend with.

I love this hotel!
Everything was perfect. I stayed at this hotel on two separate nights. Loved the modern, clean rooms and the location. Thought the room size was good for New York and the unsolicited upgrade to a queen room on my second visit was appreciated. Storage could have been a problem for a longer stay but since I was only there for one night at a time it wasn't an issue for me. The waterfall shower and lighted (fog-free) mirror were nice touches as were the dimmers on the lights. The room was very quiet, even the one right by the elevator. Staff was friendly and the Starbucks across the street was convenient. I got a promo price at half off so it was an incredible value. I couldn't have asked for a nicer stay.

Perfect hotel for the area!!
I loved everything about this hotel! I wish we could go back! We stayed for 4 nights and received great service. They upgraded our room for a bigger bed, free of charge and also without us having to ask. There is a mini bar in the room, some place you can at least keep drinks cool. The bed was amazingly large and very comfortable. The curtains are great for blacking out the room - It was quiet, cool, and comfortable our entire stay. The bathroom had a shower I wish I had in my home! And the staff was incredibly nice from the time we arrived until the time we left. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would definitely stay again! Not to mention you walk up the street, turn the corner and there is Times Square! There is so much to do and all within walking distance!

Birthday Surprise
Excellent location & very clean little hotel. The only complaint I have is it does not have ice or soda machines. You have to drink from the mini bar unless you want to go back out in the streets. They do bring you a bucket of ice but it usually takes them 30 minutes or so to do it

Nice hotel
Maybe 3 or so blocks away from the center of Times Square. Staff was friendly. Was a bit turned off by the valet guy because he asked me for a specific amount to tip him. I thought you were supposed to tip what you felt, not what is desired? Another thing is that they're was no ice bucket readily available, although, the front desk did get the ice bucket up to us in a timely fashion. Wifi was not free. Luckily I have my own wifi on my cell. I think their restaurant closes at 9pm but you can go out on the town till late. Room was a bit small for the mid 300 per night price range. Other then that, it was cool.

Great Place with LOTS of Potential
Loved the location and boutique feel of this place. Super clean room and great staff. Room was smaller than most i have stayed in big box hotels, but it was so well laid out that I really didn't care. 10th floor terrace very nice for midtown location although it did seem a bit bare. There is a BLT restaurant being built in front and a very large space off the main lobby that appears to offer more potential, but no signage as to how it is intended to be used in the future. Pret a Manger is right next door and CVS literally around the corner, lots of reasonably priced restaurants on the same block. Time Square 5 min walk. Price was the usual crazy NYC price...so market forces will dictate this. Definitely staying here again when in need of midtown location.

great location - small rooms
The location is good (in Midtown). the subway is close enough. The rooms are very small but have all you need. The closets are way too small and do not reach to the floor, i.e. you can not unfold your suite. I mentioned this to the manager, who reacted super: he assured me that they will change it. The price is expansive but not for midtown New York. All staff is knowledgeable, available 24/7 and super.
