- Standard room is run of house with one double or two twin beds. Max 2 people. - The Metro Grill serves lunch and dinner M-F, dinner only S-S. Our bar and cocktail lounge are open until 11:00pm Sun-Thur, and 12:am F-Sat.
- Rooftop Bar
- The roof terrace is open seasonally for our guests during most daytime hours. During the evenings, weather permitting, a bar that is also open to the public operates and while guests are certainly welcome, they need to make reservations with the restaurant for a table. On rare occasions the roof is booked as a party space and access can be limited or restricted during those periods (usually just a few hours per event).

Posh little gem in the City
Hotel Metro was a great find! Great central location, friendly staff, very, very clean. The Metro Grill restaurant was excellent. Ate dinner there every night. Rooms were smaller but was fine for one person. So quiet I couldn't tell I was in mid-town Manahttan. Would recommend to others.

My review of Hotel Metro
The Hotel Metro was very comfortable. And, the location is very good. The continental breakfast was perfect. We did not have to go out and search for a diner or restaurant for breakfast in the morning.

Large room for NYC
The Hotel Metto was very comfortable, the room was clean and very large for NYC. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.

Great Place to Stay in NY
This hotel was so clean, comfortable and the hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. I definately would stay at this hotel again. It was perfect for our needs. Both myself and my husband were pleasantly surprised with the hotel since this was our first time in New York and did not know what to expect. The location of the hotel is great too-easy access to everything!

Ideal location for tourists
The Hotel Metro was very clean & comfortable, large bed also desk and chair, + easy chair, TV and good wardrobe space. Window air conditioner which was a bit noisy, The location was very central, almost next door to the Empire State Building and within easy walking distance to Macy's department store also the subway which we used several times. Two elevators, one was out of service so we were allowed to use the service elevator, no problems there. The Continental breakfast was very good, ham, eggs, cheese, yogurt,three kinds of bread + different varieties of bagels and spreads also orange juice, coffee, tea & hot chocolate all of which never ran out. There is also a roof terrace, however it was being repaired so unfortunately we were not allowed to use it The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

There is a good restaurant across the road and a Korean restaurant next door also an Irish Pub just up the road. The hotel staff suggested an excellent lunch cafe in the next street. Macy's department Store is within easy walking distance.

Great Value
The hotel was centrally located in midtown only a couple blocks from the Empire State Building. A subway stop was at the end of the block making it easy to get anywhere in Manhatten with 15 minutes.

Great location,helpful staff.
The hotel Metro was very comfortable,the room was bigger than most and very clean.We liked that the bathroom/shower was separate from the vanity area..Table,chairs handy.The staff was responsive to requests for extra pillows and blankets,also helpful with directions around town etc.The included continental breakfast was excellent,all was fresh and well stocked.The location was the best,a short walk to times square and empire state building.Subway a few steps from the hotel.

Great place to stay!
The Hotel Metro was a great place to stay. Staff was excellent. Would recommend it highly. Have stayed at more expensive hotels that didn't offer the service that Metro did. It had a good location, nice resturant, accomadating staff. The complimentary breakfast was great extra feature. Room was very clean.

great for central location
The room was small byt the pru[pose was to be centrally located near other attrACTIONS AND TRANSPORTATion venues. Good for efficiency, not luxurious wallowing.

Location is key...
This hotel is in an excellent location. It is in walking distance to many of New Yorks' most note worthy attractions. A great value indeed.
