New York city holiday trip

The hotel is new and spotless; our room was very comfortable with down comforters, robes and plush towels in the bathroom. The lobby bar has a fireplace and the service was excellent, even though it was crowded. The hotel location is perfect for theatre goers and close enough to Times Square without being right in the thick of things. The staff was very helpful and we were checked in quickly and efficiently. The only criticism was the concierge was late one morning when we needed to book a car and he didn't get back to us until after 5:00 p.m. But there were always taxis waiting just outside the door, so it really wasn't a problem.

Kindess abounded

We weren't familiar with the Inter Continental and were so very pleased with the entire experience. The facilities were outstanding and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff was over and above anything anywhere else we have stayed. We felt as if the doormen were our close, personal friends.

GREAT!

went to NYC to see Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, Shopping, Broadway, etc. We were able to easily walk to all of these things from this location. It's in the middle of it all! Super clean hotel with VERY friendly bell men. They really went out of their way to offer directions, assist with luggage, secure a taxi, etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Booking Broadway tickets with our [...] package was a big time saver. You print "vouchers" instead of tickets. This means your tickets are at will call and you get to avoid the long lines of checking in. Plus, we didn't get to choose our seats but when we got there they were AMAZING

Southern Hospitality is alive in NYC...

From the moment we arrived we had nothing but smiles and helpfullness. I must say I was surprised by the attitudes of all the employees. I had heard stories of how New Yorkers were not friendly, what a lie!! The staff at this place were all friendly and very helpful with all needs. I will most def. stay here again if we get the pleasure of coming back up north!
