Lacked amenities for the price
Compared to stays in other travels this hotel lacked value for the price. It ranks as a below average hotel in my opinion. The telephone button for the front desk was broke. I paid $14.00 for in room internet which never worked. The bathroom floor tiles were in need of repair. They may want to consider offering free breakfast or something to compensate for the high price and below average condition of the hotel.

Pretty Good Hotel
The location is very convenient, right next to Time Square and Central Park. You couldn't ask for a better location for a better price. The only problem we had with the Hotel is the cleanliness. It wasn't bad, but it didn't look and smell fresh. But like I said, we weren't in the hotel except to sleep and when you walk out the door you're right at everything.

Decent Hotel for Short Stay
The hotel was in a decent location. The train station was right around the corner, which was very nice. It would have been nice if there were better food places around instead of the not-so-good diner across the street. The toilet wasn't in the best order-toilet paper didn't flush very well. Also, there were a few spots on my bathroom towels which bothered me. The staff was very courteous, though.

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Hotel shows some signs of age/wear, but efforts to improve are evident. Room was clean and location is excellent, with good restaurants and subway nearby.

Great location
For the purpose of meeting up with old friends and staying over for one night, this hotel experience was just fine. Compared to other hotels I've stayed at in Manhattan, I found it just average. The breakfast food in the hotel restaurant was way overpriced for the quality. The omelet was mediocre, at best, and the potatoes greasy. I should have dined elsewhere.

Best location, inexpensive, sweet staff
The best location out of all... Being a first time traveller I dint know where to go what to do.. Went there on a Sunday... Drive from DC to pick a friend at JFK did not know where to go as did not book a hotel til like 5 in the evening.... Searches a lot sites then orbits was the place to search... Anyways got to the hotel At 7(urrrggghhh traffic) ... Changed and The front desk executive explained what to do where to how to go what to look for for the remaining tome that we had for that night.. That I would say was VIP treatment ..got to the subway which was 1 min walk on7th ave..went to empirestate building... Took tickets (I do not recommend you to get the 102 observation deck ticket 15$ which is waste of money) all exhausted pushed ourselves a little bit and we head to see times square ( took the subway to times square) ..... this is new York ... Wonderful.. Colorful, bright, people everywhere... An advertisement hub..EXHAUSTED... Walked to the hotel.. Wa just like 7 min walk .... Grabbed food on the go at local fast food place( Pannini s coated us like 9$ for 2 ) then ate kabobs on a road side stall around 5$..best food.. Crashed... ABOUT the hotel:they said was a 4 star hotel but no where close to it. Was on the 5 floor. Rooms were old, but neat , the bathrooms are also clean.. The outlook overall 2.5/5.. But nothing can beat the location.. The lobby is nice and staff are just too sweet.... They would be right up in the front to answer any question.. I did not even feel like complaining... That took my mind completely out of the room .. I paid $117 for a 2 double beds.. Next day started out early, took the subway to south ferry station. Saw statue of liberty ... Did not get down at Ellis island.. Ticket is 13$ dint take the audio tour(21$) felt very exhausted dint know why? took the train back to times square .. Madame tussauds (30$).. Before that went to Kati roll company.. They make nice Kati tools between 6 th and 5 th ave on 39th w. Walked our way to madam tussauds like 5 min walk. Took 2 hrs there .. Had to leave .... Then went to the Hotel. I already checked out in the morning before coming out. Parking is a big issue .. Parked at 7 pm on Sunday took the car back next day in the evening... I PAID 43$ for parking for 24 hrs.. It was a 3 rd party parking that the hotel was in tie up with.. Actually rented out a car(RAV 4 2011) from hertz from dulles airport va paid $161 for 2 days.. (including insurance) Thought I should share this with you guys so that it would help another traveler to plan accordingly..... One advise ; just head out on a journey that you like plan on the go.. Do have smart phone will make it a lot easier to get info..there are so many options out there... Have a safe and happy journey.....

A reasonably priced Midtown experience
An efficient checkin - the room was plain, clean with zero view (brick wall courtyard - back of hotel) - [...] - we weren't looking for luxury or to spend much time in the room. Great location, gorgeous lobby, nice little bar in the lobby. Water pressure in room wasn't great, but really no complaints for price paid.
