Start with false advertising - no mention of massive construction when I reserved the room. Totally dishonest. And actually had my experience affirmed when I ran into another person at a cocktail party who had the same experience a week before me. Lobby tiny and cramped with people hanging around the lobby at all hours. Zero services. Room was tiny and bare...literally nothing in drawers. Not even a TV remote. Took almost an hour to bring one up. Paid $399...wasn't worth a quarter of that. Stay away.

I was not told by this website or the hotel that it is being renovated. You enter from the side street into a dirty make shift lobby that makes you think you are entering a government building for food stamps. The space was small and dirty. The staff was not friendly and had to wait 10 minutes to check in because only one person helping others. No room service. NO- Zero amenities. No Business center. I had no drinking glasses in the room. No ice machine on the floor. Requested room king. Not available in the renovated room. No mini bar. Had to call five times for drinking glasses and a cork screw. Someone brought two glasses that were dirty. Then someone else brought corkscrew. Then a fifth brought clean glasses. Someone knocked on the door looking for someone else with the do not disturb on the door outside. My first morning to wake up there, at 7 am was because of housekeeping talking with each other so loud outside the door as if they were at home. I got up and screamed to them that this was a hotel where people are sleeping. This was one of my worst NYC hotel experiences EVER. I travel to NYC frequently. WHy was I not told by this website or the hotel of what to expect. AWFUL They deserve an F! I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!

We paid $327 dollars for a Saturday night...And we got - No king bed (even though we paid for it) - No Air Conditioning (we were told to open the window) - No Lobby/Grand Entrance (had to use a service enternacne) - No Business Center - No Restaurant - No Bar - No Room Service

No one answers the phone for reservations. Government rates are not available.

I have never stayed at a hotel where the cleaning staff was a loud as this hotel. Starting at 8 am they were yelling up and down the halls, and it was still going on 2.5 hours later.

The hotel staff was useless and not willing to accomodate their guests with the simplest matters such as holding a suitcase after their storage hours. Biggest complaint though is that the hotel is going trough renovations and the hours of construction start way to early and are extremely loud!!! The room has poor ventilation and smelled like mildew. Not sure how this hotel was rated 4 stars. Definitely not that nice.

How this is a 4 star hotel is beyond me. Paid over 450 per night and had to move because the they could not control the heat in the room. Had to move myself because the phone didn't work and they would not answer at the bellmans station when I called from cellphone. Had no washclothes in the room the first night. Furnishing's are inadequate at best-Room service was a joke.I was told they were undergoing a remodeling and that was the reason for the issues

Absolutely Terrible. I did have a reservation. They over sold their rooms and at 8 pm they told me to continue waiting and eventually a room would open up. I had no place to change into a suit for dinner and my play. The staff was avoiding all guest like the plague. Finally they gave us a room. We got to it and it was dirty still! The NY Hilton is a block away and all the difference in the world!

I thought this would be a great hotel , boy was i wrong . The toilet didn't work . You have to pay 14.10 for the Wifi a day . There was no heat . The staff is rude . The tv didn't work . Please don't waste your money here. Oh and a cup of coffee is 9 dollars .

not match for 4 star hotel, doesn't have a coffee make, old furniture, pay extra for luggues deposits.
