Close to theaters
The location is great if you're in New York for a Broadway show. We were able to walk to almost everything we wanted to see. The room was smaller than we're used to, but very comfortable. The bathroom made up for the smaller bedroom.

beautiful renovation
The newly renovated Royalton is gorgeous. I cannot imagine there could have been a smaller room in the hotel. It was like one of those inside cabins on a cruise ship. The lobby is fabulous and great for hanging out in. Staff could not have been more helpful. Great central location. Gym is small, but new.

Great stay! Would recommend!
Definitely 5-star worthy. The interior of the hotel is very modern and elegant. The hotel really does its best to cater to guests, which I think everybody wants (and expects) from their hotel. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff were very friendly. The doorman assisted us with directions (and our annoying tourist quesitons) on numerous occassions. The front desk staff was always helpful, our rooms were always clean and maintained in our absence. Plus, the beds were really very comfortable, which always lends itself to a better stay. The location was perfect. The hotel is located on 44th street right in the heart of midtown Manhattan. It's three blocks from Times Square, two blocks from the subway and Bryant Park, and within a 5-10 minute walking distance of the shops on 5th Avenue. The hotel itself is almost hidden (even our taxi driver almost missed it). This actually turned out to be really nice because you didn't have to walk through crowds of people to get to your hotel. After a long day of sightseeing, the last thing we wanted to do was have to push our way through crowds of people to get to our room (like you would at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square). The only thing I can't comment on was the dining at the hotel. We never tried it. Mainly because the hotel was really close to all of the great Times Square restaurants. For a little over two hundred bucks, this hotel was definitely worth the money. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It is a fantastic hotel, just
It is a fantastic hotel, just down the road from Times Square. It is almost like your personal Private Club. The public areas are very cool, especially the huge fireplace and the bar. The room and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was huge. Every member of staff we came in contact with was pleasant and helpful. We would highly recommend staying at this hotel. You will not be disappointed.”
