Another Morgan Group Hotel ***
As most Morgan Group hotels I have stayed with- the lobby, bar, lounge, etc. are the place that everyone else in the city want to be. However, when staying the night there, you are thrown off by the elaborate, luxurious first floor when you go up to your completely white or completely grey miniscule of a room. My home closet is bigger. No light, no space to really fit two people comfortably. However, if I was rating the bathroom alone- 5 stars!! Further, bar/lounge was packed every night but drinks and service was VERY poor. I would rather stay at the Iroquois across the street for the same money and have drinks every night at the M bar next door...

The Royalton Hotel advantages and disadvantages
The rooms are convenient, clean and the staff is curteous. The problem is with the toilets that flush with a vacuum suction like on planes. This makes enormous noise like small explosions. The noise is so loud that you hear the flushings from other rooms. Imagine what it is like when toilets from hundreds of rooms are flushed throughout entire nights. It becomes a real disturbance.

DARK, DARK, DARK!
Lobby and room too dark. Decor too modern and not comfortable. Furnishings were not well suited for more mature guests. No where to sit in room due to couch that was not functional and desk out near middle of room. Bed had no top sheet and light blanket, which caused uncomfortable, hot night. Hard to find hotel due to insufficient signage out front. Staff was very efficient and helpful, but will not return.

Wonderful Time!
Went with a group of friends to hang out in NYC for the weekend. This hotel is located 2 blocks from Time Square. The staff was so nice and helpful. The fitness center is small, but it gets the job done with 2 elipicals, 1 bike machine, 3 treadmills, 2 stability balls, and a number for free weights. The hotel had a great atmosphere, very modern. Will stay again!

Me and my girlfriend loved the hotel. Once we checked in, we recieved an upgrade in our room. The lobby and lounge were great. The room was a good size, we had space to put everything. The shower was amazing. Overall the hotel was more then I expected.

Great happy hour spot!!
I enjoyed my stay at the Royalton. The hotel was immaculately clean, the rooms, although somewhat small, were well equipped and comfortable. The bedding was abundant and comfy. The lobby of this hotel was probably the best part. During the week, it gets busy with a hip, upscale crowd, of all ages. You could be in your 30's or 50's and feel good there. My keys weren't working, but the management did make an adjustment on my bill for my troubles. All in all, I would definitely return to the Royalton. Location was great, walking distance to most things. Great stay.

Chic Hotel....Great Location
A great welcome when we arrived especially the door staff who we found to be very friendly through the stay. The room was a reasonable size for 2 (Standard Queen Size) and was fairly chic and modern, the bathroom was good. We didn't eat or socialise in the hotel bar or restaurant but it did seem very popular with socialite trendy New Yorkers at weekends. The hotel is in a great location on 44th street between 5th and 6th which is near but just far enough away from the hustle & bustle Times Square. The lobby service was first class and on departure / check out the staff arranged everything from baggage hold to arranging limousine to airport (recommend this service instead of airport taxi). Only downside maybe if we were to be a little negative was noise of the air con unit, but even then it wasn't too bad. Would return to this hotel as it was good value for money (paid similar at Flatotel 2 years ago which doesn't even compare to this place). Do it!!!
