Basically nothing went right
Pretty much everything that could go wrong went wrong: - My room was next to the elevator, which was incredibly loud, and went up and down/opened and closed the doors though no one was riding it. I couldn't sleep a wink. - When I asked to change rooms, I was accomodated, but put next to a group of people partying in the next room until late at night. - The air conditioning in BOTH rooms was not working. - In the morning, I woke up and realized there was not a hairdryer in the room. I called and asked them to send one. 15 min later, I called again. I never received one and went to a senior level client meeting with soaking wet hair. - The night before, I asked them to call a taxi for my morning meeting. The taxi showed up late and I didn't have as much time as I wanted to prepare. - The computers in the "business center" do not have Office 2007 so I had to walk 20 min roundtrip to the campus copy center to print out my documents for my meeting. - The bed is really uncomfortable; the fitted sheet keeps coming off the mattress. The hotel was clean and the rooms were large, but the amenities were not at all sufficient for business travelers.

Angry and Disappointed
Parkview in Syracuse - Hello Bedbugs
The hotel seems nice. We were awoken at 8:45 a.m. on a Sunday morning by a cleaning person. Worse than that, we woke up to find a bedbug on our comforter that had gorged itself on blood all night. When it was killed, it was filled with the blood of either me or my wife (perhaps both).

Very Good
I was helpling my daughter move after graduation. I stayed one night an was looking forward to sleep for a couple hours in the morning but was awaked with the sound of the vacuum cleaner in the corridor. But after that the hotel had been renovated and is beautiful, the staff super friendly.

A Touch of Class
The limited food service is excellent and a first class restaurant is available in the hotel next door. The hotel has been tastefully renovated and has ample free parking and a very obliging staff.

Very nice
I wanted a hotel that was close to Syracuse University but wasn't too expensive and this hotel worked out perfectly. The room was quite big and had a nice flat panel TV. The refrigerator was also handy. I only wish the room had queen size beds instead of full size. There was plenty of room for the bigger beds. I would still stay here again, though.

Very relaxing experience.
The staff here was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean, nice art deco tiles in the bathroom. The best part was the cafe off the lobby. They actually served decent food (nice pastries, veggie sandwiches, salads, specialty coffees) for not outrageous prices and the staff there was also very friendly.[...]it was a lovely place to stay. There's even a vegan cafe two doors away! Great place!

The Parkview Hotel is THE place to stay
I make it a point to stay at the Parkview Hotel every time I am in Syracuse for business. I really love how clean, and beautiful the rooms are. And for the price it can not be beat. The location is right near the highway and very close to some wonderful restaurants. The in house cafe is also quite good for those who do not want to venture out- but it closes a bit on the early side. I look forward to my next visit to Syracuse so that I can stay at the Parkview.

Strong Hearts Cafe is a vegan restaurant not even half a block away. Being a vegan myself this is really quite a treat- but even for omnivores looking for a healthy bite- this is the place to go!
