Art Deco style downtown hotel
For a boutique hotel feel with metropolitan flair, check into the Parkview Hotel in downtown Syracuse. Nice weekend stay
After attending Syracuse University for undergrad, I knew the Parkview existed but I hadn't really heard much about it. I recently visited campus for a weekend and was delighted to find the Parkview advertised for significantly lower rates than then other downtown and campus area hotels. The service was great and the location of the hotel is very convenient (pretty much equal distance between campus and armory square- cheap cab rides to either place). We had a really enjoyable experience and I have no complaints--I would definitely recommend the Parkview to friends.

Attended Syracuse Football game
Hotel was nice, located a few blocks away from campus. Stayed one night. I would stay there again.

Breakfast downstairs way very nice on Sunday morning. I only had a bagel and coffee, but the view was relaxing and the staff was fantastic.

this hotel was great. the staff was attentive and friendly, there was a free shuttle that took us downtown, and the rooms were large, modern, and clean.

Parkview Hotel
Very impressed by how clean and new the rooms were. I think they've been remodeled recently. The room was large enough and very roomy in its organization. It's located very close to the highway, which was nice for us since we had to catch a flight the next morning. Even though it's close to a major road, it was very quiet and peaceful. Excellent place to stay.

I went to Dinosaur BBQ, which was about a 7-minute drive from the hotel, and the food was fabulous! I would definitely go there again if I had the chance.

Parkview Hotel
Great location close to downtown Syracuse and Syracuse University. Spacious rooms with kitchenette updated bathrooms and very quiet. The hotel is Art Deco style throughout,and gives a feel from an era gone by. The coffee shop is excellent.

convenient
We discovered this hotel as we were looking for a hotel within walking distance of Syracuse Stage and the Syracuse Drama Department Theatre. This fit the bill. Rooms are comfortable, a good size and quiet. The bathrooms could use more counter space, but that is the least of my worries. Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed the hotel each time we have stayed.

Dining options are limited...a short walk will take you to Phoebe's..a nice restaurant. It is not a far walk up towards campus where there are more options for eating.

Good Hotel
The lady at check inn didnt seem all that nice, but other than that the hotel was really nice. elevators shut down at night so if i had to get anything from the car it was 5 flights of stairs up and down, which wasnt bad for me. finding food was a little difficult, but its all located on rt 5. although the hotel dining was decent.

Great deal for location and amentities
The hotel is cool, just because it is a updated art deco building. There is parking right out back and access through doors with the hotel keys. The rooms are really nice, and a steal for the price. The neighborhood is alright, close to the University and around a lot of businesses so it becomes a ghost town after 5:00. Very safe though.

Go about five blocks west of the hotel to the Blue Tusk restaurant for good sandwiches and beer. Really affordable, mixed crowd of college kids and older people.
