Overpriced/Under adequate

Stayed for 1 night at a cost of $220. Wow! Eat too expensive for what you get. I will say the one nice thing about the parking garage is that it attaches to the hotel via a skywalk. That's where the compliments end. 1. Reserved a room with 1 King bed, we got two doubles. 2. Sink and tub had a good amount of hair (not mine) in them. 3. Room Service took one hour and fifteen minutes for dessert. 4. Room was very dated and bed wasn't comfy(opinion). I wouldn't recommend this place. Also, when I called the front desk a out room mix up they said so sorry we're overbooked nd did nothing to fix the situation. A discount, free parking, even a bottle of wit.e would've been nice.

Problems When Busy

I stayed at Hyatt Regency Columbus for 5 days and nights, and there were lots of little problems that added up to a big mess by the end. They put me in a "movement challenged" room, even though I have no problems getting around. The shower had no water pressure, it didn't face the right way, the bed was lumpy, the shower had hair all over it when I checked in, housekeeping didn't supply shampoo, conditioner and towels consistantly. I wouldn't stay here next year, except that it's attached to the convention center, and the nice lady at the front desk apologized and gave me extra frequent stayer points. I'm praying that it gets better next year.

North Market across the street is like a farmer's market, with many places to eat and other shopping. Closed Mondays.

Delightful

My only complaint is that you basically HAVE to valet park because of the location. But, the room was perfect, the staff was extremely nice and accommodating, very updated room, it was a really delightful stay.

Weekend Getaway

This hotel has recently been remodeled. So, new carpet. However, the drains in the bathroom didn't work properly and the beds were pretty hard. Lots of noise from the adjoining rooms. Seems like a lot of conventioneers and price-driven guests. So, it was average. It seems to be a high-volume hotel, and it behaved as such. In retrospect, I would have paid a little more for a more relaxing experience.

Freindly staff and great location

Traveled to Columbus for business. Hyatt was perfectly located for business meetings as well as social gatherings. Friendly staff - valet parking, front desk.

Great Meeting Place

Everything you would except from a Hyatt Regency. Great Room, plenty of options in the hotel and a great staff. Take the short walk to the Arena District and find all the food, entertainment and nightlife you could want. Colunbus has some traffic issues but arriving from the south could not have been easier.
