smile and a helpful hand. district nestled alongside the Columbia River. We are an exterior corridor property and have 58 clean and comfortable rooms and offer free high speed wireless Internet. All our rooms are equipped with coffee makers cable TV with HBO and some rooms include a refrigerator and microwave. For your convenience we offer smoking and non smoking rooms. Clean rooms and professional friendly service at our hotel on the bank of the Columbis River. River View- Pool and Spa- Continental Breakfast- Wireless Internet- Clean Comfortable Rooms

HORRIBLE! Bad business practices

I have been a loyal customer of the Astoria Dunes Motel Since 2006. I stay there everytime I got to Astoria which has been over 10 times. I called in Jan 2011 to make a reservation for the weekend of April 29th. I was quoted a rate of $88.00 per night plus tax. When I went to check in this weekend they told me the rates went up to $157.00 per night as they had new management. I waited for an hour to speak to the manager. I never got to speak to the manager face to face as he or she never came out of the back as they spoke to the receptionist thru the phone only. As a repeat customer you would think they would honor the rate given to me months before. They did not! I will never stay here again and I will tell everyone I know that they have horrible business practices!

Great Value

Aside from the constant traffic noise (it's right on U.S. 30/101), this is an ideal hotel for exploring Astoria or the nearby coastal towns and the Lewis and Clark Trail.

beach trip

it was just fine for what we needed i jsut wish we would have had a mini fridge to keep the kids snacks cold in stead we had to fill a garbage can up with ice.
