Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ASTORIA

Everything was great, but the elevator was very slow. The food for the breakfast was plentiful and fairly good. The staff was very good. We will be back. Rich and Sharon

I spent my birthday in Astoria, which was also my 1st visit to the town. The location was wonderful & the staff was more than welcoming! My friends & I had a great experience: a soak in the hot tub, a swim, breakfast, & a giant hotel room. I will definitely be staying here again!

I loved this Hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable and staff was very nice and healpful. My husband and I spent 9 days visiting San Francisco and driving up the coast. It was nice to end our journey in astoria and check in early in the day and relax. I liked the views and the grounds was up kpt and beautiful.

We had a great time in Astoria, and the hotel was FANTASTIC! We asked for a upper floor when we checked in, and the staff was so great about accommadating us! We had a beautiful view, and the hotel was very clean and comfy! We came as a family of four, but it would have been romantic for two! And the room was so spacious!!! The pool was clean and fun...and breakfast was delicious with a great view of the waterfront! I would definitely stay again, and would recommend it to anyone journeying the Oregon Coast:)!

The rooms were very spacious and clean. We stayed on the river side and fell asleep to the sound of waves coming in. It was so beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast was good but I am used to all organic so if that is important you might bring your own oatmeal. MY children enjoyed it though. We went to Seaside one day for a picnic lunch and the following day to the Astoria tower. It is such a magnificent area. We would stay there again. My youngest wished they had hot chocolate at the self service coffee station, but other than that everything was excellent!

This hotel is perfect! My mother and I stayed here one night on our week long trip down the oregon coast. This was the nicest place we stayed. First and most important the room was spotless. My mother and I are both very picky, clean freaks. This hotel met our standards in every way. We did not have a view from our room but being able to walk on the water front was wonderful. We got up early and enjoyed a very nice breakfast provided by the hotel with a great view from all tables, a long with copious amounts of tea, coffee and juice then we walked along the columbia and enjoyed the water, ships, and the beautiful wildlife. We are both birding enthusiasts and were thrilled to easily spot several herons and cormorants. It was well worth the price!

We were traveling to Astoria area for a one day fishing trip with friends. It was a great place to stay with the bridge that we had to travel over the next morning right above us, great little restaurants within walking distance featuring seafood. There is a small trolley that passes next to the hotel along the Columbia River and a walking trail. We used it to walk to and from the restaurant! We left at 5 am and the staff had our continental breakfast ready for us since it was too early for the buffet. It wasn't cheap but there were other hotels twice as expensive!
