The room was very nice with a great ocean view... most Motels would charge more for what get. Continental breakfast was above average and road noise was below average - might have helped being on the third floor. The check in folks put us with no one on the sides or underneath us, so a peaceful spot to stay. Can walk around all Depoe Bay from the room. Nice places to eat close by and the help very friendly and willing to help with directions and good recommendations. Would stay there again for the same rate charged.

Very nice.
The hotel was very clean and the bed comfortable. The traffic on 101 was a bit noisy with the door open, but tolerable with the door closed. Staff was gracious and helpful.

We had a very restful and pleasant experience at this motel. It had and extra amenity with a gas fireplace which was lovely even tho' it was too warm to use it! It was such a nice added feature for the cold and rainy weather that so often happens on the coast. The manager was new and very friendly. The room was clean and quiet! All in all, a great experience!

Great for short stay
The front desk was friendly, and was willing to give us placed to go and see.. The hottub was a perfect temp to sit in what visit and relax... The bed were nice the towels clean.. The rooms were clean and smelled wonderful.. It is good for everyone and the oceanview was WONDERFUL... Will go back in a heartbeat

It is a must to go to Safforn Salmon for a wonderful dinner.. it is located in Newport on the water... And a quick stop to Fuddy Duddy candy in Depo Bay you can walk there... many other stores to see too

The value you get for the pricing is very good!! The only bad thing is a lot of road noise. Bonnie in the front office is wonderful!!! Will definitely come back!

Ocean view. Nice balcony space.
Depoe Bay is our favorite Oregon coast destination. We enjoyed the beach, an early morning charter fishing trip and walks on the beach with our two year old. The only complaint is that the continental breakfast consisted of sweet rolls and oranges that were not ripe. We didn't expect a full breakfast, but we did have a higher expection and that was not met.

Nice view, great location.
Hotel is in a great location there in Depot Bay. Tidal Raves, a very nice place to eat is just across the street. Along with a park, and the sea wall, walk way.Depot bay is a great place for whale watching, and located right between Newport and Lincoln, gives easy access to both.[...] I wouldn't have paid full price that was quoted from some places, for the room we got. Room badly needed updating, dusty. Smelled a bit like gas from the fire place. No AC (with a sign saying your at the coast and don't need it). You have to open the sliding door to the balcony to get any air in the room, 101 is right outside the front of the building. So choice of stuffy and hot, or loud.If you don't plan to spend much time in the room, nice place to stay.
