Comfortable hotel provides a lovely stay on the Willamette River
The Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront offers more than gorgeous views of the skyline or the Willamette River. The spacious rooms boast marble baths, down comforters, Wi-Fi (fees apply) and in-room fitness equipment. Guests who want to work out elsewhere can use the fitness center with cardiovascular machines and free weights or the indoor pool. Great stay
The downtown marriot in Portland has a great location. I walked through so many different streets and stores I had blisters on my feet the next day. If you are going to be in Portland for a while and need a hotel to stay at, I would suggest this one. Good for singles, especially for guys, plenty of girls in downtown Portland. Good staff, the best gym I've seen in a hotel so far and the king size bed I had in my room was perfect after that long air travel. Really my only knock on this hotel is the pool; a bit too small, like for little kids.

Great location
We stayed here with our two boys, 7 and 5. The room was small, but comfortable. The air cooling system was a bit loud. The bathroom was small but well appointed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is an easy walk to the riverfront and nearby restaurants and shops.

We went to Mother's Bistro for breakfast and it was delicious. The atmosphere is great and the food was exceptional. The owner has a Trattoria around the corner and we heard great things about that as well.

Great location and accomodations
Loved the waterfront location with great views of the river and bridges and easy access to the trams. Staff was especially courteous and helpful.

Amazing
The staff was even better than the room which was amazing. If the Ritz-Carlton is the gold standard for service these people are a VERY close second!! We will stay there again. no doubt

Great Birthday experience
I treated my girlfriend to a night at the Marriott on the water front. It was great. We got to see Greg Oden at Buffalo Wild Wings and topped that off with a party from some people we met from the hotel. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you Mariott

Great Downtown Location!!
I was in Portland for the Saint Patricks weekend. It was a short walk downtown. The staff were beyond fantastic! When you check in, you get the felling like your there most important guest. Even the valet parking attendents were fantastic. I will stay here again!! :)
