Exceeded expectations!

I was worried about the location but needlessly. It was easy to walk to everything and we could always find a taxi. The room was perfect. A little small but we spent very little time in it. Breakfast was amazing but this was the one spot where the staff was not very pleasant. You could tell they didn't like their job. Elsewhere the staff was stellar! The pool was teeny tiny and always crowded when we went in the evening, don't know about the rest if the time. We stayed two nights and had a fantastic time in Philly. When we go back we will definitely stay at The Hampton Inn again.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

The Redding Shopping market. You have to go in and look around. It was a feast for the senses. The Amish soft pretzels were the best we ever had!

This staff works hard

Since the hotel is on the "fringe" area, I feel the hotel team there do the little extras to make it better. With the bar specials and breakfast they really try to make it comfortable.

great hotel

Great hotel, especially for the price! Only a few blocks from restaurants, bars, shopping, and several public transportation options. The hotel was nice and clean and the staff was friendly - they even let us check-in 3 hours early! Will definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel.

My husband and I recently traveled to this hotel. The rates are great for quick travelling. Breakfast was good. The location is convenient if you need to get to the Convention center. Parking was a bit difficult, but overall is was a nice hotel and served its' purpose.

Close to everything and every place. Still very friendly and quiet.

The staff is very welcoming and it was quiet. Not much traffic at night. I really liked that. You can walk easily to the touristic areas.

great location, good breakfast

Loved the location, the hospitality, and the complimentary breakfast. That breakfast will be a key consideration next time I book in Philly. The second-floor (mezzanine?) lounge area was very comfortable for doing work when I wanted to get out of the room.

Great Hotel

I loved this hotel! I previously stayed in a different hotel during my last stay in Philly and was very disappointed. This hotel had a friendly staff, 24 hour coffee bar, comfy beds, a nice swimming pool and was a close walk to Market Street and Convention Hall. Not only that, it was a fantastic deal compared to other hotels in the area. I think I may have found my new place to stay in central Philly!

Convenient and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great location and easy to find. Wish parking was included - that added another $25 to the cost.
