Expensive
The Mansion is only the facade, you sleep in a new building, with new rooms but uncomfortable. On the other hand I must say that is a very expensive for the amenities it has.

Visiting my daughter at UT
This is a terrific hotel for parents visiting their kids at UT. It's only minutes from the campus and easy to get to. The room I stayed in had a nice feel -- only unusual feature was the sink was in the main room and not the bath but it wasn't too disconcerting. A couple of things: they tried to charge me for parking but the website indicates parking is free. The front desk said they were changing their policies but were very nice about not charging me. Secondly, since it is close to UT living quarters, be prepared for loud music if you are visiting on a big party weekend as I was (Halloween). I would definitely return.

Overpriced, but nice
In Austin overnight for business. Beautiful place if you have lots of extra money to afford the amenities. Parking very expensive, dining menu was strange. Bed was very hard.

Great boutique hotel!
Very easy access to the University and downtown. Short drive to all the restaurants and night life downtown has to offer. No pool means not as many children which was exactly what we were looking for.

The Mansion at Judge's Hill Was Great
The hotel, restaurant & bar staff were all very welcoming. The accommodations were superb. Two wedding receptions were scheduled on the weekend, which sort of chased us out of alot of the public areas. I think 1 reception is enough for that size hotel.

Very nice, but overpriced
A very nice hotel just off The Drag, it's just not a great value for your luxury dollar.
