The Econo Lodge of La Crosse, Wisconsin is located at Exit 3 (Hwy 53) off I-90. We are just one mile south of the interstate and only 3 miles from downtown La Crosse, with its many fine restaurants, shops and attractions. The hotel has spacious comfortable & quiet guestrooms with nine themed guest rooms. Local attractions include the majestic Mississippi River, with its breath taking bluffs, and catch bald eagles resting (depending on the season), Riverside Park, the LaCrosse River Trail, the Great River Trail and the 400 Trail, all within 2-4 miles. Pet Charge: 10.00 charge per pet/per night. Pet Deposit: Credit card imprint or 50 refundable deposit. Pet Limit: Only 2 pets/room, under 20 lbs. Pets allowed in designated rooms only. 100% Non-Smoking Hotel

Great few days.

My mother and I made a reservation for one day but stayed 3 days and really enjoyed it. We really loved 24 hours open hot tub w no pool. It was not noisy and crowded as usually in those kind of areas. Rooms were clean and very good breakfast w hard boiled eggs in the morning. We will be back for sure.

not the greatest hotel ever

We stayed for five nights and the hotel never cleaned the room. I am ok with picking up after ourselves but we do need clean towels and garbage taken out. Our room keys hardly ever worked and the free wi-fi they offer never worked. I will never stay at that econo lodge again.

Our night there was horrible!

O.K. THE HONEST TRUE IS WE COULD HAD STAID WITH MY SON WHO LIVES IN LA CROSSE,BUT WE DISERED TO RENT A ROOM SO WE COULD GET A VERY GOOD NIGHT SLEEP SINCE WE HAD A VERY SPECIAL EVENT TO GO THE NEXT DAY. WE GOT IN BED AROUND 10:30 p.m.AND ABOUT 11:00P.M.WE STARED TO HEAR PEOPLE RUNNING ,TALKING ,WAY,WAY........ LOUD AND SCREAMING, THIS WENT ON ALL NITE.SO AND OTHER WORDS WE DID NOT GET ANY SLEEP THAT NITE NONE,ZERO.WE HEARD SOMEONE COMING UP AT LEASE TWICE TO TALK TO THE UNRUDLY PEOPLE IF ANYTHING THINGS GOT WORTH.SO BY THE TIME THIS PEOPLE SHUT UP IT WAS TIME FOR US TO GET UP.I AM VERY MAD .WHAT KIND OF MANANAGEMENT DO YOU HAVE ? I DID CALLED FRONT DESK AROUND 4.A.M. TO COMPLAINT AND THE GUY TOLD ME THAT WE SHOULD HAD CALL EARLIER, BUT THEN AGAIN HE SAID THAT HE HEARD THEM ONCE,TWICE.AND TRIED TO GET THEM TO STOP.NOT ENOUGH FOR ME.AGAIN WE FEEL LIKE WE WOULD HAD BEEN BETTER OF STAYING WITH MY SON NOT HAD TO SPENT A DIME.

I would not stay here again!!

We were in town for a conference at the college. the rooms floor was not clean. The beds were like sleeping on the floor. The pillows were bad. We did not get a good nights sleep or even a bad nights sleep. A truck cranked its engine up at 7:00am right outside our window and ran there for a half hour. Then when leaving was beep beep when backing up. We were up now for sure. The cleaning crew started banging on doors early yelling housekeeping very loudly. Dont they have an idea who is checked out or not! When we were checking out, trying to, we were ignored by the people behind the counter. Someone who appeared to be the manager just walked right on by with out even asking if we needed assistance. Then finally when the person got off the phone and helped they were un able to print out a receipt stating our balance was zero. I had better not get charged again for the terrible room. We will never be staying there again.
