Boston is the capital city of the state of Massachusetts and is one of the oldest cities in the US. Boston has a rich and varied history from being one of the centres of the American Revolution to being the first city in the United States to get a subway system. Boston is also known as a hub for higher education, especially medicine.
You can learn about the history of the great nation at the Museum of Fine Arts. See the history of America presented through art, from the Native Americans to the end of the 20th century. There are also photography, fashion and jewelry exhibits and work from Monet, Rembrandt and Degas. 
If you’re a sports fan and enjoy a bit of modern culture why not take a tour of Fenway Park, the oldest ball park in America and the home of the Boston Red Sox. You can take a 50 minute tour with a tour guide where you’ll experience all the fun of the ball park, see where legendary players like Babe Ruth pitched and learn of the now broken Curse of the Bambino.
North end is Boston’s oldest neighborhood and is said to have the best restaurants and bars. You can also see Paul Revere’s House, the place where he set out on the journey that would turn him into a legend. It’s one of the few buildings in America that have survived since colonial times. After all that sightseeing why not drop into Vito’s Tavern for a cold beer and one of their signature homemade burgers.
Another place to visit is the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. Here you can learn all about J.F.K’s life legacy and leadership. You can watch movie about his life, take a guided tour and learn about his wife Jackie. If you want some fresh air you could take a walk around the 10 acre grounds surrounding the museum.
An excellent place to stay is the Seaport Hotel. Here you can enjoy the amazing views of the waterfront. It’s located in the centre of Boston but still maintains an air of tranquility due to the idyllic views and friendly service. It’s close to nearly all the major attractions, is pet friendly and has a pool, spa and restaurants. Alternatively you could stay in Hotel 140 which is a registered historic building and used to be the headquarters of the Y.W.C.A. It’s now a renovated boutique hotel which has 54 contemporary rooms, fitness, business centre and a restaurant.
