About this space
Two bedroom, two bath cabin built in 2024, located ONLY 2 miles from the "Enchanted Acres" Wedding Venues. It's the perfect location if you are attending a wedding or just want to get away from it all and be in the middle of Gods country with 360 degrees of beautiful scenery. Just 15 minutes from New Philadelphia and 3 nearby lakes (Tappan, Leesville, and Atwood). We are just waiting for Fall to approach for this one of a kind.
The space
2 bedrooms with queen beds. Two large sectionals and a futon for additional sleeping space. The Butternut is located on 5 acres. Wildlife abundant.

Other things to note
The cabin is in the country 15 minutes to the nearest town. Very secluded. There are 2 smart tv’s available, but you will need to use your own mobile hotspot to use them. We built this place in 2023 as a getaway. We had local Amish friends custom saw and kiln dry our boards including butternut, white oak, and walnut. We hope you enjoy it as well. Our family comes here to spend time away from the everyday rat race.

Visiting for wedding

The owner was excellent to communicate with and very accommodating. It was a very pleasant stay in a beautiful home. Really appreciated the snack basket as well - it was a nice, welcoming surprise after a long drive :)

Convenient, comfortable, and clean

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5. We were in town for a wedding at Enchanted Acres. The cabin is less than a 5 minute drive from the venue. The kids loved playing outside and location was very quiet. The cabin was very clean and beds are so comfortable! We appreciated that the owners provided plenty of towels and blankets. We would love to come back and stay again.
