Where to begin. The staff were all super friendly and polite and the lifts work quickly, I think thats about where the good points end. The hotel is utterly falling apart. The main reception is relatively well maintained and clean looking, the other attached reception is abandoned, falling apart, the bar and resturaunt is closed and abandoned, the main door doesn't work, missing carpets with exposed rotting ply-wood on the floor and walls with random bits of rubbish and broke furniture spread around the place and oddly smelled like a dirty hamsters cage The rooms were some how worse. I have 1.5 kettles in my room, a broken hair dryer, 2 telephones not plugged into anything, a heavily stained chair, a broken ironing board with a hole burned through it, a trouser press with exposed peeling elements, 3 irons and a TV with no working TV channels. Of the 5 light bulbs in the bathroom 2 were working, steam vent not working, water pressure as reliable as a politician and mouldy silicone throughout. I found someone's dirty clothes in the room drawers, no mugs or spoons for a drink but there was a butter tub filled with loose tea bags, sugar and out of date UHT milk packets. All the electrical items PAT testing stickers were out of date so wouldn't trust them. I stayed for 3 nights in total and had no room turn down service or even seen any of the other rooms being cleaned so don't expect cleanliness, and if you're hungry in the morning be prepared to pay £9.99 for a bowl of cereal
