Lady at the front desk was very rude very dark humor no smile whatsoever. Balconies were closed, but she lied and told us that construction had just started two weeks ago but reviews online show that this has been going on for months. The beds were very worn out and uncomfortable. I paid for this with pain pain for about the first six hours of my day waking up. The hallways are dingy and very dirty

I was initially hesitant due to recent reviews, but I enjoyed my stay. The room was warm, quiet, clean, and the bed was just right—not sagging or too firm. The staff were incredibly nice and professional. I can't wait to return with my kids to enjoy the pool and game room!

Great Stay

The hotel was very clean, it is an older building, but well kept up. The staff were over the top friendly and helpful. The prices were affordable for all our family members!

Needs updating!

We stay here because it’s a decent hotel and the prices are great for families. The hotel definitely needs to be updated! I know the staff said they are working on updating things so I look forward to staying here again once those are done. The staff is always great! If you’re looking for a cheap decent place to stay with close vicinity to the beach I would stay here!

For a two star hotel, everything worked and I had no issues. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean. My dogs were welcome for an extra fee and the staff kept my phone number and offered to keep an eye on them if I should have to leave. I am happy with the deal.

I did not enjoy the stay. The room advertised said ocean view, balcony, and fireplace. 1 of the sliding doors were so streaked and grimy it destracted and partially blocked the view. We were told upon arrival that the balcony was not available for use and was closed for remodeling and if the balcony door was opened or the block removed there would be a $500 fee. I asked for a fireplace log on the 2nd day. I was told they were no longer complimentary and I would need to purchase 1. Then i was immediately told they were out of said logs. So imagine my surprise to later see another guest recieving a log from the front desk a short time later. For the last 5 years i have stayed at thos hotel once or twice a year. It is very sade to say this was the last time i brimg my family here. We received straight out rudeness from 1 of the staff. We asked him for towels he told us they were being laundered and we would need to wait . We never got them. We asked for papers towels since there was only a partial roll when we arrived for a 2 day stay. We were told the staff would have to locate them. We never received any more paper towels. We were less than satisfied . This hotel was not welcoming

Well worn property, five star view.

The balcony was unsafe, we were warned of this and the price was lower because it was a really dead weekend in Ocean Shores. They said that the sliding glass door would only open 4" to prevent anyone from going out onto the balcony because of the rotting wood, but the door opened all the way so we just had to behave ourselves and not go out there and risk our lives. The desk guy was great, the room was nice. The bedding was clean but the blanket consisted of a lumpy duvet with a duvet cover put on top of it as if it was a bedspread but it wasn't. A simple blanket would have been much better. The pillows were a random assortment with random pillowcases that were all white but some were a weird polyester stuff not cotton. The ocean view was lovely from the room we had. There was a nice kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom with two queen beds. Would stay again and hoping that the property gets some repair and upkeep soon.
