Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
We arrived at the property without much trouble. There is very limited free on-street parking. There is a paid public lot nearby that we parked in.
When we entered, there were no open windows or ventilation and the air was very musty and dank with heavy scent of old cigarettes. This house is definitely only for smokers, with a pronounced smell of old smoke. The downstairs was also very very dusty. Lighting is very limited throughout the apartment and very limited outlets. There is one real bedroom with an ancient steel full-size bed. One very small room with a child-size bed. The main room downstairs has a single loveseat that folds out into a single bed, but is incredibly dirty. The beds upstairs had sheets, but no blankets. The sofa bed had no bedding at all. In the closet was a single ratty old comforter like a moving company would use to wrap furniture.
To reach the sea view requires going up a rickety narrow steel circular stair. The view is very pleasant, but you won't be easily bringing dinner up.
By the time we had identified no bedding in the house, my youngest son had already started wheezing from the dust and dankness.
We asked the property manager about the bedding and the air quality and they ghosted us. Still haven't responded.
With my son wheezing and no bedding, we ended up leaving immediately and staying in a hotel instead.
