Medium stay

Please note, that it is surrounded by a township. We were not super impressed by the food, which is basically an mix of typical European dishes and lacks all African. The electricity went off all the time during the evenings. Other than that the guesthouse itself was really beautiful.

Unique Domes

Very nice room and the grounds were beautiful with succulents, trees, bushes and flowers. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and the service exception. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great historic guesthouse, close to the main gate of Addo Elephant National Park. Beautiful and comfortable rooms and amazing restaurant. Staff is super friendly. We had a great stay!!!

A wonderful place to stay, eat, chill and go on Addo safaris . We booked a dome room, which was really nice and separated from the main building. The staff were amazing and the location was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend staying here for at least 2 nights.

Fabulous stay

lovely experience staying in the eco huts on a lovely working farm. The staff were very helpful (although contact prior to check in could be improved) and they were able to be flexible with breakfast times to suit a pre booked safari. The pool and communal areas were fantastic (BBQ and pizza oven). The surrounding area can be quite confronting with children begging and a lot of general rubbish floating around. The guesthouse is a hidden gem and I would recommend staying for a few days if doing an Addo safari (enter from the north entrance as the roads there are sealed).

We were seeking an economic base from which to explore the Sundays River Valley and Addo Elephant Park. It fulfilled these objectives.

Die Unterkunft lag perfekt, um den Addo Elephant Park zu besuchen. Das Essen ist hervorragend. Wir haben den Park mit dem eigenen PKW besucht und hatten einzigartige Momente dort mit Elefanten, Zebras und vielen anderen Tieren.

Buchen! Wir haben lange hin und her überlegt und später über uns selbst gelacht, weil wir nicht eine Sekunde hätten überlegen müssen. Es war rundum schön und zufriedenstellend. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, angenehmes Publikum, tolles Gebäude, unfassbar leckeres Essen, guter Ranger mit langem Game Drive, Nähe zum Addo Eingang für eigene Safaris sowie der privaten Durchfahrtsstraße durch den Addo auf der man bereits alle Tiere sehen kann. Wir würden wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Unterkunft top, Betreuung leider eher flopp

Das Guesthouse selber ist ganz schön, auch wenn die Bilder hier mehr versprechen. Leider recht kühle Stimmung, sind da herzlicheres Auftreten der Gastgeber von anderen Lodges oder Gästehäusern gewohnt gewesen. Auch die Info, dass an man direkt am Township vorbei muss auf dem Weg in die Stadt wird nirgendwo erwähnt.

Top plek, heerlijk rustig aanbevelenswaardig!!!

Super plek vlakbij Addo’s Elephant Park. Prachtig gebouw met een heerlijk restaurant. Het personeel is lief en attent en altijd vrolijk. Dank je wel Monique voor het geweldige verblijf. Wij hebben met de altijd vrolijke Aubrey een geweldige Gamedrive, wat wist Aubrey veel over de dieren.

Tolles Hideaway direkt am Addo Nat Park

Der Stellenhof lädt mit seiner einzigartigen Kombination aus Dutch-Kap Architektur und den modernen Earth Domes zur Entspannung in ruhiger Atmosphäre ein. Die Anfahrt zum Addo Park dauert ca. 20 Minuten und wir haben den Game Drive Service des Stellenhof genutzt, der in einem halb offenen Geländewagen durchgeführt wird, man kommt nah an die Tiere heran. Beim Dinner gibt es keine all zu große Auswahl, dafür ist es gut zubereitet. Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.
