Located on Anthony Street in Henley Beach, Il Cappano Rosa is just a short drive or walk to some of the coastal best like Henley Square, well known seaside restaurants, popular cafes, pubs and shops . If you are feeling like exploring further - famous Glenelg Beach is just a 15 minute drive further South.

Upon arrival at Il Cappano Rosa you’ll immediately feel as though you`re at home and ready to enjoy all that this side of town has to offer. Entry into our home is via a lock box for ease of access 24 hours.

This beautiful, heritage and incredibly styled home has been detailed to the highest of standards for a truly special space and stay. Our living, kitchen and dining is perfect for relaxing in front of the TV on the large leather sofa, cooking up a storm whilst opening up the servery window to chat to those accompanying you in the courtyard, or unwinding outdoors beside the citrus trees with a freshly brewed cup of DeGroot espresso coffee and a ‘can’t put it down’ book.

Soak up some rays as you store away any extra luggage in the front sunroom before making your way to the sun lounges outside.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay including an oven, cooktop, fridge, espresso machine, dishwasher and plenty of wine glasses! Take a seat at our outdoor dining table and enjoy a meal with friends among the privacy and charm of our secluded courtyard.

Our king size bed suites both offer bright yet tranquil decor, side tables, reading lamps, luxury high loft quilts, a choice of pillows, and super soft vintage wash linen. There is both hanging space and vintage drawers for your convenience.

There is a main bathroom with a shower, large free standing luxury bath tub, under basin storage and towel rails. There is also a washing machine located in the linen cupboard if needed on your stay. A separate toilet is adjacent to the bathroom. Enjoy the provisions of hair and body care amenities on us.

There is car parking available on the street just out the front.

You’ll be delighted at every turn by the natural flow of the decor, styling pieces and pops of colour in this unique home. Come and stay awhile and enjoy this masterpiece all to yourself, we would love to have you.

LOST KEYS/LOCKOUTS: Please keep the property key with you all the time during your stay. Lost key/emergency key delivery charges will be $180AUD plus key replacement fee or cost of a locksmith.

LOST PROPERTY: For any items left behind - the host will hold the item for a maximum of 30 days from check-out date after which time they will be considered abandoned and disposed of or donated. During the 30 day collection period, collection can be arranged by way of the guest providing a prepaid postage bag to a supplied address or the item can be collected in person at an agreed time and location.

Our family of three stayed for three nights in mid January @ 440 per night. We enjoyed our stay there, parking outside, close to the beach, 20 min walk to Henely Square, the house is roomy and has a fantastic deck and garden area. This is where we spent most of time relaxing at the house when not sleeping. It’s a “heritage house” (AKA as ‘Federation house’), the type that has a narrow frontage and is long, especially as it’s been extended. The property description states “ … incredibly styled home has been detailed to the highest of standards … “, but this is an exaggeration, it’s been renovated with a medium budget (e.g. the kitchen bench has laminate surface (already scratched!) rather than higher-end material like stone. I’d actually describe it as ‘beachy’ or ‘rustic’ due to the floral-patterned dining seats, exposed bricks in the lounge and wooden toilet door. Unlike the spacious bathroom with a free standing bath, shower cubicle and washing machine, the toilet is extremely small and claustrophobic, with a broken lock, so you had to hold the door closed with your foot!. I also found overall the house was it a bit dimly lit, not helped by one of the lights in the lounge not working, and one light in the dining room flickering constantly. The TV was unwatchable due to a black blotchy image (see pic). But despite these negative, we did still enjoy our stay.
