Wonderfull Stay

Checked in to find that we had been upgraded from what would have been a very good room to the ‘Room 1’ Heritage Deluxe Room which had an even bigger Spa bath and the best of views. Dinner at the hotel was good, staff professional and helpful. Will be back.

A pleasant stay but the this period hotel is in need of a few more mid cons. Staff all very nice , helpful and attentive. Eat at the hotel and the food was good and a variety. Down side a little out of town although train from Largs Station (approx 10min walk) great to take you into city. Also a very busy place for functions and daily visits for meals. Can be noisy , equally sound proofing could be better, noisy floorboards , coming & going. Laundromat on site great for on the road wash 10aus$ and done. The Largs Pier has the nostalgia, the setting with beach & pier. Would I stay again probably but would like to see a little more upgrade.

Great location

We had originally booked a heritage room whilst it is a beautiful room ! It was just way too many flights of stairs with luggage to navigate on a daily basis. We were repositioned onto the ground floor with no fuss, this room was clean but a little old, a cupboard door fell off but was promptly fixed, the room can become a little noisy with foot traffic on a weekend, the shower recess allows water to freely pass through onto the bathroom floor which becomes soaked & the wifi is very sketchy also the tv is too small for the size of the room. The location is awesome as are the meals & the staff are wonderful, so I suppose the $ per room reflects well on what you get. We would definitely return.

Lovely heritage accommodation

Lovely room in heritage style, spoilt a little by the common balcony shared by everyone else. That resulted in people partying outside our room until nearly midnight. Otherwise this is one of our favourite accommodation places on the coast in Adelaide
