Booked The Playford because it looked like a grand old art deco building … only to arrive and find it was covered in scaffolding for high pressure cleaning. As well they were deep cleaning the carpets. These things need to be done but there was no mention of it on the website when booking was being made. Very disappointing.

The exterior of the building and driveway to the hotel were filthy and looked like they have never been cleaned. The enrty area needs a good clean with a gurney and should be swept as a minimum every morning from all the debris blowing in from the street.

Exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is perfect and you hear very little noise from busy North Terrace. Great spot - transport right outside and short walks to some beautiful restaurants and the casino. The room was clean, bright and very comfortable. Wish we stayed longer. Highly recommended.
