Budget-Lösung mit Abstrichen

Pros: - Kostenfreie, sichere Parkplätze - Große Zimmer - Verkehrsgünstige Lage
Cons: Zimmerservice Heizung im Winter
Location: Das Zentrum von Adelaide ist nur 5 km entfernt und mit Auto und ÖPNV (Bus ohne Umsteigen) gut erreichbar.
Das Motel ist schon etwas älter (Zimmer und Einrichtung sind abgenutzt, aber noch brauchbar) und befindet sich verkehrsgünstig an einer Hauptstraße ins Zentrum. Vorteilhaft ist die gut ausgestattete Mini-Küche: Großer Kühlschrank, Toaster, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher und Geschirr + Besteck. Das große Familienzimmer war im Winter (Juli) kalt und mit dem kleinen elektrischen Radiator und einer lauten Klimaanlage (im Heiz-Modus) nur unzureichend beheizbar. Generell war die Sauberkeit OK; allerdings lag unter dem Bett ein leerer Joghurt-Becher mit Löffel. Der Zimmerservice hat weder das (schon bei unserer Ankunft) leere Duschgel noch den kostenfreien Tee und Instant-Kaffee nachgefüllt. Dafür hatten wir hinterher zwei weitere Rollen Toilettenpapier (obwohl noch zwei Ersatzrollen da waren)... Die mehrspurige Hauptstraße direkt vom Motel ist auch nachts stark befahren (laute Trucks am Berg!). Die Fenster bieten nur unzureichenden Lärmschutz und je nach Lage der Zimmer (im Innenhof ist es sicher ruhiger) wird es recht laut.
