Adjoining a larger gîte, Le Petit Esquilat features a private outdoor space (courtyard and covered terrace) and benefits from the pool and grounds shared by both accommodations. A landscaped parking area is available. Domaine d'Esquilat is 1 km from Mauvaisin Castle, 7 km from Cintegabelle, 10 km from Nailloux (La Thésauque swimming lake, shops, cinema, market) and Auterive (Auterive Adventure treetop adventure park, tool museum), 18 km from the Canal du Midi (biking, hiking, and boating), 25 km from Lac de la Ganguise in the Aude department (sailing), 38 km from the artists' village of Carla-Bayle, and 50 km from Foix (Ariège department). Toulouse is 43 km to the north.
