Waters Edge is NOT on the water .... it is better. A short walk up hill just behind Main Street gives you amazing views out over main beach and harbour. Three ppols to choose from ... And note ... Woolworth just across road with Grog shop ... just so convenient !!

We stayed at this facility a few days before and after a 7 day cruise around the Whitsundays the second apartment after the cruise had a leaking washing machine and faulty hairdryer and wasn’t as clean as the fist either some good left from previous guests in the cupboard and the lifts were being renovated as were some of the exterior areas around the pool it is a good location but there is a steep walk from the main shopping and eating precinct that won’t suit the unfit

Although I was sick the whole week I spent a lot of time in the apartment, and noticed it is very tired and in bad need of modernisation given the price charged. Very steep hill to get into and out of the property. All through the place there were lots of areas that were not that clean- bare feet kept collecting fluff and hair from previous occupants, and beds although comfortable, did not look the greatest. We were there for a week although cut short due to illness after 5 days. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Vary noisy late at night from singing at the pub in front

The cafe in the hotel is actually closed, which wouldn’t have been a problem but there wasn’t any notice before the stay began. The room itself was very spacious and would be great for a family. The kitchen was especially well stocked with cooking equipment. The hotel grounds could use a blow as there is a lot of debris and it just generally looks untidy. The view from the balcony is amazing and at a really great price point. If you’re budget minded with a family, this would be a great hotel to stay. The pool was maintained really well and crystal clear. There was outside uncovered parking which was great for us as we had a large ute. It is located very conveniently and is just a short walk to the marina where many of the tours leave from.

Very clean and convenient property located close to main street of Airlie beach. Walkable from port of Airlie and a very short walk to the beach area. Appt had laundry and dishwasher. clean and tidy with great views. We would go back.
