I am writing this review knowing that lodging is very limited in Ajo, AZ. However, it took the front desk person/owner 10 minutes to find our reservation and he kept asking us how many beds we needed (which he'd know if he had our reservation in front of him and the room ready to go). The room as fine and it was clean, but we couldn't get hot water and there weren't towels for the 3 of us (only 1 bath towel) and the beds squeaked every time we moved. Did the room provide what we needed (beds, running water and a bathroom), yes, but was it great, no. Again, I understand lodging is limited, but I would not stay here again.

I hate to have to write this, but it overall was not a great experience. the water to shower was ice cold. the bed was so uncomfortable. I dealt with a sore back and shoulder all day the following day. otherwise, the room was clean, and the property was clean.

Laundry no. AC ok. Freezer never defrosted and unusable. Dead bugs on window sill. No grab bars for disabled. Bed very uncomfortable. Said next time I had to pay for the pet. There was just a sign he pointed to in the office and would not accept the charge on a card.

The room was in good condition and the staff were friendly. My only concern is that the blinds in my window did not fit the window, allowing outsiders a view into my room. I let the staff know how uncomfortable that was to me, and ask that when I return next week, that I am given a room either complete privacy from others.
