The room smelled damp and musty. The bed linens were thin as toilet paper. They tried to make the rooms look nice with updated decor but doesn't his the fact it's an old building with decaying infrastructure. Disappointed

Beautiful property. But very dated. Restaurant has inconvenient hours- closed Sunday and Monday. I had to door dash meals. Very overpriced snack/ toiletries in the shop- pool is run down with rolled installation around the pool- hot and humid - walls / ceiling panels falling off - sliding doors around the pool cracked and dirty- barrel drums and overgrown grass on other side of doors

This beautiful property had many fun amenities that our family enjoyed. We brought our small dog and appreciated having a pet friendly room. I wish the pet friendly area hadn’t been in what felt like a basement or garden patio room. I understand others having allergies but larger hotels are able to manage cleanliness so I wished we could’ve experienced staying in another part of the hotel. Everything else was great though!

Wonderful Stay!!

Our family was at the Aurora Inn for one night on our way to Pennsylvania; it was so nice we wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived early evening (with 2 hungry grandchildren). After checking in and finding our room we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant as it was after 7. The wait staff was great; put us in an out of the way booth to accommodate our 2yr old and 7yr old grands, who were hungry and tired. And the food was fabulous! My husband really loved the turntable in the room and the albums in the lobby. So many nice amenities. I think we would drive here again (from Bay City, MI) just for the food! Friendly, helpful,above and beyond staff. Lovely, beautiful 100 year old inn with so much charm: highly recommend!!

Beautiful vintage building that has been lovingly maintained. Staff very nice. Pool was closed when we were there which was a bummer as we were looking forward to a swim. Nice restaurant on site. Nice grounds. Room a little small.
