No early checkin

I contacted super 8 by virtual chat. I requested early checkin at 11 am. The agent stated the request had been sent and if I get an email back then the itinerary had been updated. I received an email saying it had been adjusted. When I arrived the man checking me in was not aware of my request and said the room would not be ready until 1pm. This was a huge inconvenience and very frustrating. This did not make a good impression for customer service.

The lighting fixtures were mostly falling off the walls. Shelf unit was ripped out of the wall on one side. Tub was slow to drain and held water. Pet fee was extremely high.

Smoking room yet No ashtrays

My stay was just an overnight. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was supposed to be a smoking room yet there were no ashtrays anywhere around. The bathroom was clean yet very worn down; in need of a facelift.
