VERY EXPENSIVE!! This Hotel is very expensive, in my personal opinion, it is a regular 5 stars hotel, nothing special and the price are very high. I heard that there’s another hotel by the area with the same quality for the half of price.

Banyan tree is an exceptional resort. Check-in was absolutely seamless. Staff are definitely courteous and attentive. Many of the rooms have their own private pool and we were upgraded to a double suite which was certainly appreciated. Our room was luxurious and incredibly spacious. We used our private pool every day and it was a wonderful option to have. Unfortunately, the hotel did not advertise that their main pool was closed due to falling rocks from above. The pool will remain closed to guests until a permanent solution is found. That could take months. The hotel should warn its guests in advance that the main pool is closed since it is a main draw/attraction for this hotel. The breakfast options were good though we felt the dinner options a bit limited. Although spa treatments were relaxing, the spa facilities are also limited with no relaxation area, sauna or steam room option. Would strongly recommend the hotel consider adding these options in the future. Overall, the resort was beautiful, the staff were excellent and we had it incredibly enjoyable time. Would strongly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

It was beyond amazing all the staff very polite very friendly the room was inmaculate the food was great, Llhom from Uzbekistan was phenomenal and very attentive also the manager of room coordinator he’s from Mexico was outstanding great service great host!! Pool which is main feature of this property was not working. They did inform me after I booked my stay. They also had made arrangements with Habitat but it was not the same.
