Only pro: there was a bed with a roof over it. Cons: the bed sucked, the tv wouldn’t work half the time even after front desk man coming to fix it. Definitely not worth $75 a night especially given the Ice Cold shower. The fresh paint and new bed frames/furniture only goes so far, man. 😬 ooof and the smells… the smelly smell that smells…. Smelly.

We arrived after dark as we were photographing at White Sands National Park until after sunset. Service was prompt and quick. Room was obvious updated.

Excellent Value

Clean with a great shower (but sandpaper towels). Great room service. We’ve stayed here a few times and will go back. The property is very well- maintained.

The person staying next to us was very sketchy which affected our stay of feeling safe but the staff there is highly courteous and friendly and made an effort to say hi and check in. Everywhere was fully booked at the time of our stay so we knew what we were paying for to find a last minute accommodation. Otherwise the rooms themselves were much better for what we expected.

Check in was difficult. Desk attendant spoke poor English, kept telling me they did not have a handicapped room but I had a hard time finding out what room the DID have for me. The room was reasonably clean but minimal in comfort and amenities.

Budget Inn provides a very clean resting place. The inn itself is quiet, but the train and street noises may bother some people. We had no problem sleeping comfortably. The rooms are very small and cramped, but the shower was amazing! We will stay here again.
