The Movie Manor is like an old friend. I am always happy to be there for a highly unusual location. Watching the drive-in movie from the room is still a kick. The place is clean but looking tired. The breakfast was excellent and the choice of foods was robust. It was a treat and an inexpensive stay. Whenever time allows, I will be back.

A 50’s style motel with the added bonus of watching a drive-in movie from your bed! Speaker in the ceiling can be adjusted up or off. Good breakfast included. Steps to second floor are in need of repair,

Fairly standard Best Western with very decent breakfast, clean large room. The extra is having a drive in movie theater onsite. Which you can watch from the room. That was very cool

We thought the movie theater would be fun, but it was horrible. People would back their vehicles in to sit in the back of them, and then leave their headlights on until someone would flash their lights at them. Then they turned off their headlight and turned on their parking lights, which were just as distracting when we were trying to watch the movie from our room. Breakfast was average hotel breakfast and the pillows were uncomfortable. Dissappointed to say the least.

Other than the lobby area and breakfast area, the property and rooms are not very kemp. The lot smelled of urine next to our room. The vending area was not clean or stocked.

Terrible Customer Service at Hotel

Upon arrival, new front desk gentleman, was not friendly at all. I had called both hotels.com and the hotel directly the night before to let them know one of my party was sick and we were not a no show but would arrive the following day. Both hotels.com and the hotel assured me that my room would not be cancelled. I arrived, to be told by the unfriendly new front desk guy that my room had automatically been cancelled due to no show. I later learned that he cancelled it. I had paid in advance to hotels.com in full. He then proceeded to make a new reservation and charged me again for the same room. I called hotels.com, explained, and they refunded me for the 2nd night then the hotel recharged. It took me about 30 mins to check in, after a 4 hour drive. The front desk guy was clearly annoyed, never apologized, never smiled . . . 0 customer service. That guy needs a lesson in "hospitality."

Beds were so comfortable!! My 2 year old loved the playground in front of the screen it was a little rusty but adorable! I wish their was a pool I ended up only staying one night as their wasn’t enough for us to do nearby. One night was plenty staff was friendly.

the lobby area is new and great but the buildings with the rooms are pretty old and unpleasant our room in the pet friendly building was located about 300 m away from the lobby, there was dog p**p close to the area where I unloaded my car an old toilet was dumped behind the building where we stayed, very unpleasant close to the room door was a big trash bin without cover, and we had nesting pigeons close to the door walking the dog was difficult because of the thorny vegetation surrounding the property based on the pics in the booking portal we expected a much different experience room was clean, breakfast was great, reception was friendly but never again in this hotel

It’s a pretty old place and thus pretty shabby. It was clean enough, the beds were very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. The area around it was also pretty rundown with some questionable items strewn about. It served its purpose for us just driving through town.
